I had a wonderful experience at Oxana with Caitlyn Dwyer. For my first time at Oxana and having previous salon struggles, the staff was extremely accommodating and Caitlyn put all my worries at ease. She also gave me the *perfect* fall color and got me set up to start a true hair health journey! I cannot recommend Oxana and Caitlyn highly enough!
Ariana did my blowout and my friend’s on Saturday August 30th and it was the best! I have never recieved so many compliments. It was so silky, smooth, soft, while still maintaining its volume! I’ll be sure to ask for her anytime I am in the area!
UPDATE: I was NEVER contacted by the owner of the salon personally. I received an email from a “salon leader” Lindsey Rhodes advising me to be respectful to their stylist and that the free sample she provided that included a “trial size of a texturing spray, and shampoo” would rectify what was done to my hair. She proceeded to defend this haircut and continued to mention that I needed to be respectful. News flash, Expressing your dissatisfaction is not disrespectful. The entitlement is astounding!! When advertising a service, that is what the client should get. You do not get to destroy someone’s hair and just act like it never happened !! You do not get to destroy someone’s hair and then bully them into not being able to share their experience!! Original- This is the worst nightmare of my life!! I have NEVER been through anything like this. I honestly believe Merci may have been under the influence during my haircut, as this is unexplainable. I went in to the salon, asked for a shoulder length haircut, all one length. I took the time to explain that I did not want my hair shorter in the back and explained I wanted one length all the way around. Merci began cutting my hair with a crazy look in her eye. She kept chopping and chopping and I even mentioned to her I believe you are cutting way too much. She ignored me until i was left horrified. My hair is SEVERAL inches shorter in the back, uneven, doesn’t blend with the front of my hair and is the worst haircut I’ve ever seen on anyone. A toddler with a pair of scissors could’ve done a better haircut. The entire back of my head is chopped up and gapped up, completely uneven . I asked for a shoulder length haircut and she cut all of my hair completely off, completely uneven. Merci needs to be fired and her license revoked!!!!!!!! She is ruining people’s lives.
Ariana was so awesome! She stayed until after 9 for me and i was a first timer that she knew lived out of town. She took such pride in her work. Sooooo pleased!!!
Allie was truly amazing! So personable, easy to talk to and fun! She gave me the hair I’ve been dreaming of for the last several cuts but had yet to achieve elsewhere. I will definitely be back to see Allie! The salon was beautiful and the hours are great.
I walked out with this! $480 later! I lost a 5 inch section of hair from bleach being left on too long. After reaching out to the salon owner the day after it was 1 week later that I received a call from Lindsey the manager who could’ve cared less. I asked for reimbursement she said that would not happen and she would have to talk to the stylist to figure out what to do. Another whole week went by and Lindsey called again offering me 2 free treatments and a color at cost for $80 to fix the 20 different shades. That’s it! I will also add both times I spoke to Lindsey it was as if she had a giggle in her tone. To the owner… are you really that busy that you can’t talk to a client who lost a lot of hair to make it right? Lindsey is a terrible manager and is not the person to handle your problems. Mistakes happen I get it but you both are damaging your business with your reckless professionalism.
Oxana salon is a beautiful salon . I got lucky to have Michel taking care of my hair. He styles my hair for a cocktail party it was beautifully wavy very stylish. and the following day an updo for a gala . Gorgeous ! Michel is very talented !
Jonathan was so great! I came in with my hair a whole mess and was not really sure what I wanted or how to fix it but I knew I needed a change. He talked me through his tone/ cut/ color recommendations and I was totally on board for him to do whatever he thought would suit me best. I’m so glad I did!! My hair feels healthy and fresh, and I love the color. 10/10.
I gave three shots to Oxana because I believe mistakes might happen some time. First time, it was two years ago, I went to this salon, the hair stylist asked me if I washed my hair before coming to the appointment and I did. So I said yes and she said, she did not want to damage my hair with chemical products and would not wash my hair. Instead she flat iron it a million of times. I do not know if a shampoo is more damaging or high heat from flat iron. The final hair cut was awful! Second time, it was in April, I had long hair and wanted to cut it short. The hair stylist looked at my hair and said, you have a lot of hair. I cannot finish your work in an hour. So I skip washing your hair and do the hair cut using flat iron. Again, a million times of ironing and she did a really bad job on the hair cut. She took my hair to reduce the volume and literally pulling them one by one. Yesterday, was my third time and I booked with a more professional stylist and mentioned about my full and thick hair. She shampooed my hair. But she dried them and again flat iron it non-stop. She could not do a very simple bob cut! She brought someone else to help her and at last this was the hair cut they gave me. I had a really good hair stylist before coming here and I know what high quality and good hair cut is!!!! Besides the bad service during the hair cut, I was not even satisfied with my final hair cut in either of instances. They are pricey with low quality work. Even Great clips does a better job compared to them!!!! Not sure how these google reviews coming from. I would never go back there and not recommend them at all!!!
Okay so let me by start by saying I had 2 visits here in a span of 2 weeks. My first visit was just awful - Carissa was nice but I’m not really sure why I felt she was rushing through my appointment & I left feeling really disappointed. I came in to have clip in extensions blended into my hair with a cut - left with an uneven cut and I looked crazy- you could clearly tell that I had clip-ins in because of how Abrupt of a difference there was between my hair and the extensions. The appointment just felt off, I went home and immediately took off the clip-ins. I struggled to say something at the time even though I probably should have because that cost me $140, which was a complete waste. I also, did not find the person who works the checkout desk to be nice, she comes across as very cold & unkind….I had an event coming up and was looking for someone to use the extensions and fix my hair. Carissa recommended Michel, I was hesitant given my experience with her, but after looking at his Instagram I decided to give the salon a second chance. I’m really glad that I did. Michel was nice & met me early even before the saline opens at 6:30am, noticed the issues with the extensions, fixed the botched cut that was done on clip ins and made my hair feel full and pretty. He did a really good job, I will def be back to see him possibly as a regular client.
