I really hate to leave a bad review, especially because the owner (I’m assuming that’s who I spoke with on the phone) and the nail tech were both incredibly nice, professional, and genuinely apologetic. However, my experience was very disappointing. I had a 5:30 p.m. appointment, but when I arrived, there was only one tech working. I spoke to the owner, who asked if I could wait a little bit due to the staffing issue. I agreed, assuming it wouldn’t be too long. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting until about 6:30 before speaking with her again over the phone. She was kind and apologetic, offering to stay late or let me come back in the morning. Since I needed my nails done because I was leaving town the next morning and other salons were already closed or closing, I chose to wait. By the time it was 6 it would’ve been too late for me to go anywhere else. The tech was finally able to start my nails at 7:30 p.m., and I truly appreciated her effort since she was the only one there. My frustration, however, lies in the final result. The color I chose looked like a pinkish nude with shimmer in the book, but it turned out to be a sheer glitter. The shape of the nails was also off, to say the least—they're uneven, crooked, and the pointer finger on my left hand is noticeably longer than the others. I want to be clear that I don’t blame the tech—she did her best under difficult circumstances. I tried to explain what I wanted adjusted, but the language barrier made it tough to communicate. By the time everything was done, it was 9 p.m. and I was exhausted, so I just paid and left. I genuinely wish things had gone differently because the staff was so kind, but unfortunately, the experience and results didn’t meet expectations.
I was excited to try a new nail salon and the nail techs were very nice. That's where it stops and ends. I decided to get the dip powder on my nails and a polish on my toes. It was the worst polish I had ever received. Polish was dripping off of my toe and they looked as if that was normal. They ended up polishing my toes several times and it still looked horrible. The dip powder only lasted 2 weeks and it was very bulky. Each finger was dipped about 8-10 times. I normally don't write reviews, but this was the worse experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I was there for a few hours and was not satisfied at all. The owner spoke with me over the phone and was very nice and offered to fix everything, however, I decided to not take a chance as I was going out of town the next day. It was the first and last time.
My nails came out so cute omg yall should come to my girl Mai’s nails she came thru all the way 🥰
Called to make an appt and was told no, they do not take new clients... how would they even know if I was an existing client or new...pretty annoying a nail salon is turning away existing clients. Welp.. I’m sure someone else would like my business of every two week appts. 🤷🏼♀️
I am here now and I've been coming here since 2004. I just love it here and Mai is always amazing
