I've been going to Nikki since Sept. 2025 for coloring my hair and she's been a great source of information and provided great service. She explained the process to go from a red/dark brown color to a more medium/light brown and each time I go I enjoy the outcome. The color is what I want and the service too. Everyone I have interacted with at the Salon is friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Nikki and Bloom Salon for any color or hairstyling needs. Very happy customer!

I’ve been to see Nikki twice and each time it has been a wonderful experience. She is thoughtful and clear about what she recommends, and does a great job communicating her perspectives about color and styling. Her color technique is excellent and she’s efficient but also open to feedback and discussion. The salon is lively but not loud and everyone there seems content and happy. Great vibes all around and I look forward to seeing Nikki again - and have recommended her to all my friends.

Personally, I’m so picky about who I let touch my hair but this place gets it right! The people who wash hair are sensitive to temperature and tender-headedness and check in with you to make sure it’s an enjoyable experience. And Heather is my go to hair stylist. She gets my look and knows how to work with natural wavy red hair which I appreciate.

This is a smaller salon near the Westin. I have been going to Moira for over a year for a long pixie cut and have been very satisfied. (Be aware that reaching them by phone is difficult - they don't always check their messages.)

Pros: Jenny asked the right questions and instruct someone to do the conditioning and toning. I guess that’s the only interaction I had with Jenny apart from me saying I will leave. The result is my hair is soft as expected when you do conditioning. The one that done the actual hair wash and conditioning is good too. Cons: I waited for 30 mins coz she said she didn’t realize I arrived, when in fact I got checked in and had my robe on waiting on the waiting chair. In the middle of the treatment, I told her I would like a haircut too and she said she will look for someone to do it. After the conditioning and toning, I sat back on the chair waiting for 10 mins. The one who washed my hair asked why am I still sitting and told her I’m waiting for Jenny to see if someone can do haircut. But never to hear from anyone again so I left. I would normally not feel so bad about this experience but all of this is for my upcoming wedding and I left disappointed looking for another salon for haircut. I expected more hospitality on salon/spa industry. If the haircut cannot be done I would appreciate a heads up as I waited longer than the actual service. What I experience is more of a product usage rather than service in a hospitality/pampering industry. Little things sometimes matter more than the general services.

About a year ago, I got a haircut and dye from Nikki. I chose to come here because of glowing recommendations from a friend. I had already had a really bad hair journey those past 2 years and was very anxious to see someone new. Prior to Nikki, I went to a hair salon and requested to go platinum blonde. During this visit, the hairdresser continued to bleach my hair without me realizing what was really going on. In the process of bleaching, she began to pull chunks of hair out of my head. The bleach was too strong and my hair couldn’t handle it. For the next 2 years I began to grow out my hair. It felt like elastic and constantly pulled chunks of hair out of my head for the next few weeks. I was deeply traumatized by this since i’d say one of my best features was my hair. Fast forward to my time with Nikki, I had some nerves going into it. I told her my past experience and she went through the process of how the bleaching process works and how to care for my hair. She also explained what went wrong with my past hair dresser and how that wouldn’t happen here. I’m excited to book a new appointment with Nikki next month! I moved out to Gainesville and attempted to find someone new. The haircut I got was too expensive for the result. It was uneven and I regretted not going back to Nikki. I told myself the next time I get my hair done, it will be with her. So if you’re debating on coming to The Bloom Salon, I’d say stop and just book up with Nikki! She is someone I can trust with my hair and I’m so blessed to have found her! (About my hair: I have a lot of hair on my head and it’s naturally thick and straight. I do wash my hair close to daily, but I try my best to refrain from it. The photo of me with my long hair is when I got it with my previous hair dresser and the one showing my face is what I got after a visit with Nikki!)

Jenny is absolutely an angel + an amazing artist! I am obsessed with her work and found my forever hair home!

Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Jenny! She is amazing and truly professional. After a previous color mishap, Jenny went above and beyond to fix it. She asked lots of questions, provided fantastic advice, and worked with me every step of the way to achieve exactly what I wanted. Her patience, great communication, and attentiveness made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The salon is clean, beautiful and the staff is very friendly.
