I have gone to Salon Haven for Homecoming, Prom, and Senior Photo hair and makeup in 2022. My stylist was Sami Zmani, and she was absolutely incredible. She was able to make my inspiration photos come to life, and knew exactly how to adjust the style to be exactly what I wanted. She is one-in-a-million stylist that gives you what you want even when you don’t know what you want. She always exceeds my expectations and is diligent in making sure you love your hair and makeup before you leave the salon. I recently had a haircut with her as well, and she once again, did an incredible job. Finally, all of the stylists and receptionists were so welcoming, and I would recommend Salon Haven to anyone I meet!

I had the BEST experience at Salon Haven with Emily Boyd. I came in for a full highlight and left absolutely loving my hair. Emily really listened to what I wanted and gave me the perfect blend of brightness and dimension—exactly what I envisioned (if not better!). The whole atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and relaxing. You can tell they truly care about their clients and take pride in their work. I’m so happy with the results and already looking forward to my next appointment. Highly recommend! 🩷✨💇🏼‍♀️

My experience was fantastic from start to finish! I had my hair done by Gabby, who was not only professional but also so sweet, hardworking, and detail-oriented. I loved seeing how the whole team worked together—everyone was kind and supportive of one another, which created such a welcoming atmosphere. The salon itself is beautiful, and the cozy spots by the fireplace made it the perfect place to unwind (and is amazing for reading a book!). Most importantly, my hair turned out absolutely gorgeous—I couldn’t be happier!

Went to get my hair done yesterday first time being here. The place was really nice and welcoming. My stylist was Vanessa and she was so great. Probably the best stylist I’ve had so far and I’ve tried many different salons. I am happy I finally found someone who listens to my vision, and doesn’t have a problem dealing with my long hair. Vanessa did really great I got highlights and changed my root color. I’m happy with the outcome and I will be back soon. Thank you Vanessa

Emily was amazing! This was a new appointment and I was having a lot of problems with my hair. She listened so intently to my concerns and immediately had suggestions to offer me. My color and cut were fantastic. So easy for me to style and she was able to recommend a product to help with my dry, thin, curly hair. And she's such a delightful person. Such a pretty, clean welcoming Salon. ❤️

We had an absolutely incredible experience with our stylist, Emily B! From the moment we walked in, she made my teen daughter feel completely at ease. She took the time to really listen to what my daughter wanted, asked thoughtful and clarifying questions, and made sure she understood the look we were going for. Her patience and kindness went such a long way in making this a positive and confidence-boosting experience. The end result? Stunning. Not only did the final look perfectly match the inspiration photo — it actually turned out even better than we imagined. You can tell Emily truly cares about her craft and about making her clients feel their best. We couldn’t be happier, and we’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Ashley and her staff are AMAZING!!!! From the first inquiry for my bridal services, to the trial, up until the day of, they were ABSOLUTELY ON POINT! Sami was so communicative and kept me and my party updated and informed on everything. Ashley came out and did HER THING day of! I couldn't have chosen a better team/ makeup lady 😉 (as my girls called her 😂)!!! Thank you all for being a huge part of our special day and being so kind. My New Forever Salon Quick back story: I had been going to a different Salon in Peoria, IL and let’s just say, the last time I went, things didn’t go as planned. I left incredibly unhappy with my hair. I went from dark to blonde and it did not at all, turn out the way I had hoped. While I understood that going from dark to blonde was going to be tough, my previous stylist didn’t make any suggestions or talk me through the process. So essentially, I left out with a color that I had 0 confidence in, as well as a mock cut of what I asked that in no way was the cut I wanted. Fast forward and decided to do my research to find a salon near Oswego, IL, which is where I reside now. I stumbled upon Salon Haven and booked a consultation with Vanessa Lauchuga. Needless to say, prior to my consultation, I had lost a lot of trust in stylists as my hair is very sacred to me. As soon as I walked into Salon Haven, I was immediately welcomed with a warm hospitality and incredible energy. They offered me a beverage while I waited and everyone getting their hair done looked STUNNING! Vanessa welcomed me with a sense of friendliness and also confidence, which was a great sign! The consultation took 10 min and within that time, I was already SO excited for what Vanessa and I talked about bringing to life! Once appointment time came, Vanessa just completely floored me. She took such great care of my hair and consistently asked for my feedback and if there were any changes I wanted made to ensure that I walked out the door happy, confident, fresh and renewed. She is a stylist that truly cares about her clients and not just the monetary gain. My hair has never felt and looked so beautiful and I’m so thankful for her and Salon Haven. Needless to say, this is the only salon that I will be going to moving forward, with Vanessa being my staple stylist. Although I will say, not matter which stylist you go either, I am very confident that any of these ladies will have you feeling like a runway model and renewed every single visit. SO excited to have found my Salon Haven! I can’t wait to be back! If you’re trying to find a salon with stylist that know what they’re doing AND know how to style all types of hair textures, I highly encourage you to give this place a try.❤️

Madeline took the time to go over pricing with me in detail and helped find options that fit my budget while still achieving my hair goals. I really appreciated how transparent and thoughtful she was about every step of the process. She explained everything clearly—from the highlights to the cut and style—so I always felt informed and confident. The end result was exactly what I was hoping for.
