Adore Nails and Spa

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was really upsetting—especially since I was getting my nails done for a special occasion. Everyone at the salon was friendly, which I appreciate, but unfortunately, the quality of the service did not match the price I paid. I came in for a pedicure and a liquid gel fill with French tips. From the start, I felt uneasy because the technician didn’t seem confident with what he was doing. I would have gladly waited for someone more experienced, especially considering I was paying $80 for a fill. Still, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, hoping that any flaws in technique would be corrected with filing. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The French tips were uneven—different on every finger—and the nail shapes were inconsistent. I don’t usually complain, but with vacation coming up (and my husband’s birthday during it), I really wanted my nails to look clean and polished. So after almost two hours in the chair, I politely asked to just have a plain polish applied instead, since I didn’t have the time or trust for another round of French tips. They were willing to fix it, but then two other staff members came up to me, asking what was wrong in a tone that felt snippy and dismissive. It made me feel uncomfortable and like I was being difficult for simply asking for the service to be corrected. The original tech came back and was kind and respectful, but the end result was still bad—visible outgrowth, rough shaping, hair in the gel, and old polish visible underneath. The worst part? I walked out of there on the verge of tears. I felt embarrassed and disappointed after spending that kind of money and time on nails that look messy and rushed. Even worse, I saw another client next to me getting a more complex design that looked stunning—so clearly, the skill is there. It just wasn’t given to me. Now, I have to take even more time I don’t have to go find a different salon and pay all over again to fix these before my trip. I’m genuinely hurt and frustrated. When you treat yourself to a salon visit, you want to leave feeling good—not like you’ve wasted your money and time.

Very satisfied to say the least! Cleanness was top notch, all staff were kind and helpful. Tracy was amazing and did so good with my nails. I usually get gel manicure on my natural nail but because they were too short we added a tip to them to let grow. I will be returning to this salon again!

I’ve been going to Adore for almost a year now, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I tried a few places before I came and finally settled here after finding Emily. She is the absolute BEST! I used to bite my nails and had trouble growing them so she recommended I do acrylic powder, and my nails have never been so long and healthy. Every time I come I show her a picture of what I want art wise, and she makes them look even better than the pictures I show her. I get compliments wherever I go, and my nails last a minimum of three weeks! Thank you emily/ adore nails for your expertise and always providing me with the best service possible. Even though I moved 25 min away, I will always make the drive to come here.

Pretty disappointed with the service I received at Adore Nails as I have heard so many great things. This place comes highly reviewed and I decided I would give it a try after not getting my nails done in a couple of years. I requested a gel full set. The technician that did my nails was not friendly at all. I tried to make a couple of small talk points of conversation and was ignored. No big deal as I understand not everyone likes to talk. On to the service- I was under the impression that a full set with gel would include the services of a basic manicure (cuticle trimming, nail filing, hand massage, etc). I did not receive any of this! I still had powder from the acrylics on my hands and was told I was done (see pic below). Maybe I was under a false impression and this is not a part of the service, but $60 is a steep price for just the nail tip and polish application. Throughout the service, a few of my nails were misshaped. I had asked the technician to file a couple of them and she seemed to be a bit irritated but complied. I stopped asking her to fix them as I did not want to agitate her more. Instead, I left with crooked nails that are shaped completely differently on each finger and didn’t even receive a full manicure service (see pics below) :(

It was my first time at this salon and I will definitely be back. Making an appointment was easy and all the staff were very nice. My nail artist was Cindy and she did an amazing job on my pedicure. The massage for the Royal Pedicure was so relaxing and I almost fell asleep several times. Such a fantastic treat after a busy week.

This is my first time to this nail salon and they offered great service. I came in on a Monday around 11 am and it was busy but they were still able to take me almost right away. They offered amazing services, the massages were great, my nail polish turned out wonderful. She went as far as to clean off my slippers before putting them on me. She was friendly and took care of all my needs. I will definitely come back!

My first time for a pedicure at Adore in Pearl Kai, with an excellent deluxe pedicure by Sam who assisted me with selecting a pretty nail polish color to accent my party dress. Great service with comfortable surroundings. Thank you Sam!

Definitely need an appointment here, glad I had one, when I walked in for my appointment at 930 all the chairs were full and I had to wait a little bit. They were fast (gel manicure and pedicure in just over an hour), but the prices online and on the paper weren’t totally accurate. I paid cash so it was slightly cheaper but still almost 15 dollars more than estimated prior with sales tax. They play good music and take good care of cleaning all the tools and supplies used during manicures. The bottle I wanted was not useable since put back on the rack spilled, so had to change my color when starting my toes. My gel polish started chipping and peeling off not even 3 days after I got them done which is disappointing.

I have supported this salon since the day it opened and have unfortunately watched it gradually decline in quality. I don’t know if it is a lack of care, lack of skill, or what. I have been an extremely happy customer until this past December. Since then every time I come in I have to either step by step walk them through simple shaping techniques, ask them to apply additional layers of polish so my nails are even, and sometimes that doesn’t even work. The past 2 technicians I have had made me feel like I was problematic for even being present. It has been hard to watch the decline. Today I left with every single nail a different shape and thickness after trying over and over again to ask her to correct them. Every time she touched my nails she changed the shape. Towards the end I had given up and it was late. No amount of filing and reapplying base coat will fix a poor acrylic application and the lack of filing technique. I try to be kind and patient with each dissatisfied visit. There are several amazing people who I adore there. I’m sad to say I don’t think I have many chances left before I take my business elsewhere. So sad to see such a great place go downhill. I posted photos below of what were supposed to be a ballerina shaped nail. I provided photos, suggestions, prompts, and was incredibly patient. I just gave up after an hour of attempting to get what I wanted. Update: Now that my regular nail tech has returned, I have been coming in and leaving incredibly happy. I will always come see Hana no matter how poor service from other techs has been! I pray management treats her as the valuable team member she is.
