I got my hair done by Elleigh, she was wonderful! I brought in inspo pics and she helped me decide which would look best. She brought over color samples also. This was the first time any stylist has done that for me! My hair looks great!

**************BE AWARE *********** Just recently, I moved to Springfield and used Google searches and reviews to locate a a professional place to get my hair done. I decided to get an appointment, since they seem to be “the best” reviewed one. When I called, I explained to the person on the phone what I was looking for and how my hair looked at the time. I would like to share here briefly that my hair has not been touched for two years (no color, no haircut). Additionally, I requested an experienced professional, and it was told to me that the person who was scheduling me was a tier 3, very experienced. It was an exciting day for me when I had my appointment, but it quickly turned into a nightmare. When I was called by the personal who was scheduled with, seemed unfriendly, I gave her a run down of what I wanted, showed her pictures to have an idea (she even share a picture of a previous client, to show me she knew exactly what I was looking for). She appears to be in a hurry throughout the process. It seemed like she was just trying to get to the next client; but I thought : I will trust the process; they said she was experienced. Well, I left the place with a 3 tones hair (my hair was almost virgem- TWO YEARS of no color). I mentioned to her I wanted some deep conditioning at the beginning of my appointment (I was not budgeting for my hair service, I had the money to leave this place with all the services I need). She said she would show me some products I could buy to take home at the front of the store. (More than ever I needed because my hair was a mess). Well, she never showed me anything. As I walked to my car, I began to cry. I was in a state of unbelievers shock when I realized that I had paid over $300 to have my hair burned and three toned stained. It was necessary for me to calm my emotions before I called the next day, because I was broken emotionally. Part 2: On the following day, I called, explaining what had happened and stating that I did not wish to reschedule with the same person. It was necessary for me to return to the same girl and have my hair dyed dark. Well, the nightmare does not end here. Again, she appears to be rushing through the process. Throughout my visit, I was in and out of the room, as if she did not wish to see my face. The situation was very uncomfortable. I left the place with still stained hair, and gray hairs next to my ears (I had shown her the grays hairs that had not been covered in the first visit two days earlier). It was still there. I then showed the receptionist this time. I refuse to leave that place with hair that I believe, in all honesty, I could have done a better job with. Their response was that they would contact me. As it turns out, they did, they called and offered to fix my hair a third time since, according to the person who called me, it takes three attempts to correct the gray hair and color. After being hurt emotionally, I became angry because her statement basically called me stupid. I have been in a lot of hair salons before and around the world, I am very well traveled person because of background, and I have nerve budget with my myself, so I know it doesn’t take 3 tries. But the fact she said that a “professional hair salon” such as Meraki’s, that it needs to touch a client’s hair 3 times to get it right, was an offense to my intellect. At Meraki's, I felt that it was all about money. There has never been a time in my life when I have felt more like a number. The experience was solely focused on my wallet. I felt extremely disrespected. My scalp was sensitive and with a burning sensation from all these fixes, that were not resolved in two appointments. It was a very unprofessional experience.

Elleigh was the best! My haircut was awesome. After 23 years of military service I wanted a new stylish haircut and I decided to try out Meraki salon. I was extremely pleased with the cut and service. Would highly recommend to friends and family!

Love this salon! The stylists are so sweet and friendly, and I always leave feeling pampered. I had an appointment for a haircut and gloss with Elleigh. She was super attentive and answered all my questions with recommendations for products and suggestions for my hair type. I live out of town, but will hold off on getting my hair done to make an appointment when I’m visiting family. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! Very welcoming, unique, friendly and very knowledgeable. They explained the process and the leveling system very well. I have a lot of hair and I decided to go with a level 3 stylist. Taryn was very helpful as she helped me understand my hair & helped me find the best hairstyle for my face and hair.
