I started to see Carol at Aura Salon because I couldn’t deal with my last stylist canceling last minute or delaying me for hours. I was nervous at first but Carol made me feel incredibly welcomed and took the time to converse with me to get to know me and what my goals were for my hair color and style. I am incredibly indecisive so I’ve changed my hair at least 13 times now in the last few years ranging anywhere from super long bleach blonde to a short bob length dark brown and then adding high lights and low lights which have all been within a minutes notice most time. I love this salon because of the laid back yet, clean and classy environment, and especially because of all of the hard working stylists there who work incredibly well as a team. So thank you Carol for taking me as a client, my hair went from sad, dry and brittle to healthy and happy. Now it grows so fast! Also, I sent and inspo picture and it was spot on! You go girl!!! I have finally found my forever stylist!

These are the worst layers I’ve ever gotten, by Carol. Nothing the photos can’t show for themselves. Who cuts layers to be long in the front and short in the back?? .. Everything was choppy and looked ridiculous. Maybe would have been better if she was focused on cutting hair and not reading text messages. I tried going back to the salon to get it fixed and was greeted with passive aggressiveness. I was gentle with my request to have it redone but that was clearly taken as an insult. Carol took a look at my cut and had no idea what was wrong with it, said it was “crazy because everything looks even”, and took scissors to trim a cm off on one side before asking if it looked fixed. Um? I left and went to a different salon to get this fixed and immediately the stylist saw how boxy the layers were. Said it was like a bowl cut going around my head, sitting on top of a longer chunk of hair. Wish I could have asked for a refund for this $80 cut but there’s no way that would have been responded to empathetically. Edit: I did receive a refund, thank you to the owner, I appreciate the help

I came across Aura salon today on an impulse to get my hair cut. Holly did a fantastic job and I genuinely enjoyed my time in the salon. My hair looks great and I will definitely be back to see her for future hair apts.

Decided to get a haircut on a whim today as I only cut my hair about once a year, and I'm so glad I did. I booked with Robert and had the best experience from start to finish. The wash was great, he cut my hair exactly how I wanted with keeping my natural curls in mind and did a full straightened style all in under an hour! His 30 years experience shine through in everything he does and he created such a welcoming environment for a first time customer. I've never left a salon feeling and looking as great as I did today and will 100% book with Robert again in the future.

Carol is one of my favorite humans. I met her about a two years ago and she genuinely knows how to do AWESOME HAIR. She listens, she has amazing talent and will even let me pop in and get a quick bang trim same day. (she requests that I do not do it myself, otherwise she will have to just fix it- totally agree, I do not need to mix my bangs and scissors lol). She is amazing at what she does. She does my hair which is thin and stick straight as well as my daughters which is super thick and wavy- both always look great when we are done.

Book Rob. he’s the absolute best and such a sweet! he NAILED my hair and i almost cried because i love it that much and no one has ever done this good on my hair. It’s now a strawberry blonde. He’s very professional and knows what he’s doing. trust me !!!

Carol does exactly what I ask and above and beyond! She is so good at knowing what I want and doing the exact same color I’m thinking and she gets it done fast. She is my favorite at customer service and she knows exactly what you’re looking for. I’m so happy with Carol and recommend her to all my friends.
