The prices aren’t bad but I dislike the nails I got from there. Fine pedicure, but my acrylic set is chunky, unflattering, and nowhere near the cuticle and I just got hours ago. Going elsewhere to get them replaced tomorrow.
I wish I would’ve seen the reviews before I went to this place. I even waited a week after my service to post this review. I was there for a gel manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was okay the guy gave me a good massage and took his time, but the towels he applied were way too hot. He didn’t even shake them off before he put them on my legs. It has been a week and my polish is already chipped. The gel in my hands is completely gone it started lifting and peeled off by chunks. Service was for sure friendly, but I am questioning the quality of their products.
I received a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine. The manicure design was executed poorly. The price was $60 for the pedicure and $65 for the manicure. I was very disappointed in the quality especially because I had expressed the nails were for my birthday.
From another establishment, I had a HORRIBLE nail job that I came here to fix. They got me taken care of right away to fix the shape and color, my nails look perfect now! The lady do did my nails was good and sweet and showed me how they should be properly done!
I came in for an acrylic nail fill. I wanted a baby pink with very minimal nail art. I was told to pick a color, which I did, but when I got to the chair, they started talking amongst themselves, and said I can’t use that color. They filled the nail with clear as a result, and said they could put gel color over top. I again asked for a baby pink. I also asked them to cut the nails as short as they could go because I work in healthcare and I get them caught on things and I was told that they can’t go any shorter. They’re uneven, there’s acrylic nails on my cuticles and the color is not a baby pink. They are rude and unprofessional. The service is mediocre at best. Way overpriced for the services rendered, we have much better nail salons in Morgantown. I won’t be back.
I got a gel manicure and pedicure. During the manicure, the technician spent around 30 minutes solely trimming my cuticles. It was extensive. The technician clipped the skin of my thumb, causing me to bleed for around 20 minutes. During the time that my thumb was bleeding, they told me that it was my fault that it was bleeding since my cuticles were so bad and continued to talk about me to other technicians. I don’t think it’s my fault that the technician ripped off the skin of my thumb. It was painful, and I was still expected to pay full price and tip. I will not be returning in the future.
I’m so dissatisfied every time I come here. It’s been 6 months since my last visit and nothing has changed. This time I asked for a basic short square French tip and when he started laying the acrylic it looked so terrible and bulky. So much acrylic Was under my nails. I spoke up about it and he said nothing. I then pointed out how one of the nails wasn’t glued on all the way and was ignored again. It took me looking miserable for the nail tech beside him to finally move me to another lady. I left before I even got to my pedicure, the way they responded about it all was unprofessional and I rather go somewhere else
This is my second time coming here and the first time, my nails looked great and there was no problem. I came here yesterday to get an acrylic fill and the woman I had was extremely rough on my hands and cut 3 of my fingers with the nail file. Then while using the drill brush she cut 2 of my cuticles and they are very sore and red today. my nails are what I asked for and are cute, but I will not be going back after that. She was moving way too fast and cut multiple of my fingers, which is not acceptable. If you come to this salon, make sure to get quinn or someone else because this lady destroyed my fingers and cuticles.
I’ve been going to them for years and each year the service gets worse! Specifically, I used to ask for the owner cause she was the only one with good quality work now you’re probably better off asking for a different tech. I haven’t left there happy with my nails the last few times I’ve gone. My previous appointment will most likely be my last time going there.
Way over priced, poor quality. They charged me $20 for my 5 yo daughter's color change on her hands. It was not even manicure, just color change. I paid for design that looked nothing like what i asked. See pic for comparison. For two color change just for hands for me and my daughter, one design, I paid $70!!!
Personally very disappointed in the quality of my nails. It has been one week and my nails are lifting and causing me great pain. My pedicure also cost $30 extra because of gel polish however, I was not told about the price increase until going to pay. Horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone.
I have seen Quinn at Friendly Nails on a regular basis and I am impressed every time. She can do just about any design, works very fast, and does an excellent job with shape and color. I have been getting manicures for over 10 years and Quinn is the best technician I have ever seen!
This is my second time going and I’ve had amazing service both time! I was hesitant to go the first time cause of the reviews but I’m thankful I went. Helen does amazing work and this time I was asked to switch because Helen had an apt show …
Came in for a manicure and pedicure, I have to say I am not impressed with the service or the experience that followed. The pedicure is basic but acceptable, the gel manicure looks like a toddler had done their own nails. The gel is all …
Customer service could have been better. The nail techs tried to argue with me about the type of polish/gel I had on my nails. I had a tip put on one nail and it wasn’t filed down so the acrylic on top was bumpy and the bump could be felt …
Don’t go here unless you hate your cuticles and want them to be buffed off completely. I left with injuries on every single cuticle both times i went here. I would show a photo if I could. It also took 2hrs and 45 minutes for a regular gel …
My manicure was rushed. When he was cutting the tips to the length I wanted he chipped my thumb nail and didn't file it down properly or check to see if the corresponding nail was of equal length. Some of the nails are not painted to …
I went in for a fill, but when the technician went to drill off the polish, some of my nails were too lose and she recommended getting a new set. I took her advice and told her to proceed with that. That’s when she clipped my existing …
Service is always mediocre at best. It's nice that they do walk-ins but the actual work they do is so bad. Nails are never even/symmetrical and they don't do designs very well. They break so easily. They definitely overcharge. Quinn is good but you have to have a strict appt and text her directly.
My salon at home had showed me were my nails had been drilled and dented in over time from this place. I could feel and see the dents in my nails. They said it would take alot of time for them to heal. Will not be going back to this place.
