My favorite spot in town, the women are so kind and attentive and they do such a good job. I love the atmosphere too, it’s cute and laid back, and they’re quick. Not like Vermont Nails where you sit there for 4 hours (even when you have an appointment and people are just walking in and getting theirs done without one), have 6 different people work on your nails, and leave overstimulated and dissatisfied. Definitely recommend here versus anywhere else in Saint Albans.

I've been going here for over a year and had never had dipped nails before. My nails were delicate and always breaking. The dip is great for solving that issue! Additionally, Teeny is amazing. She's so talented! I highly recommend.

The mother daughter team goes hard, they have been my one and only nail salon since I started to get my nails professionally done. I’m always impressed with their work and their style. The vibe in there is always friendly and they have great entertainment for those longer appointments. They pay attention to detail and take their time to make sure it’s exactly what you asked for. Forever a loyal customer <3

Great experience as a walk-in! They were welcoming, kind, and quick. I wish there had been look-books to check out but that’s such a minor detail. She did a great job and the price is the best in the area. I will definitely be back!

I made an appointment for my daughter to have gel nails done, no extensions, just polish. I told them on the phone that we would like a complicated design painted on her nails and was assured no problem. We went to the appointment, they claimed they had no record of us booking and that anything other than basic polish was not something they did. Which is fine, but would have been good to know up front. I don’t get my nails done so I have no idea how this all works but they were very rude and unfriendly. We ended up going to Vermont Nails where we had been before and they squeezed us in, did the design no problem, and were friendly and professional. We will continue to go to Vermont Nails.

They do great on my fills (dips) However , I have been a regular customer for many years and make appointments for my fill but when I have a scheduled appointment for a fill they will take “Walk Ins” and work on them. before they complete my nails. Good job but if you don’t mind “Walk Ins” going a head of you a Great place.

I’ve tried A LOT of nail places in the area and 89 has been my favorite. I was going to another place for a few months that absolutely destroyed my nails and they were lifting after a week, which I was gaslit “that’s normal”. I’ve been getting my nails done for YEARS and that’s not normal. I sometimes wait a little too long in between fills and they’ve NEVER lifted going to 89. Occasionally have to wait but I don’t ever mind :)

Highly recommend this salon! Friendly, accommodating and clean! They fit me in without an appointment and absolutely nailed my requested design from Pinterest inspiration! I have palmar hyperhidrosis which can make it uncomfortable and embarrassing to get my nails done, these ladies were kind, set me up with a fan to help with temp and were overall patient and non-judgmental! I’ve had some very rude manicurists over the years these ladies were so nice about it.

This is my go to when I get my nails done! I got roughly every two weeks and not once have I been disappointed. I ask for some pretty different designs than she is used to and every one she has done has surpassed my expectation! Absolutely 💯 recommend that you come for not only beautiful nails but affordable and friendly service! …
