Great Clips

The hair stylists at this location have always been good. My only nitpick is that whenever someone comes into the store, someone has to stop cutting hair in order to make sure the customer is either signed in for their appointment, or has to get them into the system.

Aubrey always gives me a great haircut. She is very engaging and makes me feel like a person, not just "another customer".

Quick service, I asked for Bri and she was availale. She knows my hair well.

Took my daughter in for a new doo for homecoming!!! It was a great experience and I am forever grateful for the staff! My daughter had a wonderful time at the dance and got so many compliments on her hair and that made my heart happy. I know times are hard and making friends in high school can be tough but sometimes all it takes to break the ice is something as simple as a kick ass new hair cut. I did not get the employees name but she had purple/pink hair. She was epic and I highly recommend her!!!

How disappointing. I took my 5 year old in for a pretty standard, simple cut and his hair was butchered. I actually had to take him home and buzz it. The lady cutting his hair spent 5 minutes AT THE MOST on it and rushed us out of the chair. I understand that the business model for these kinds of places require chair turnover and quick cuts, but this was incompetence and carelessness at its maximum. Do not recommend. Look below at the chunks taken out of my poor kids hair :(

The girl that was cutting my hair complained the entire time about how she was tired and didn’t want to be at work and would rather be sleeping in the back than cutting hair. I didn’t really get the haircut I wanted because there was not a moment I could tell her what I wanted. The couple questions she did ask she sighed very loudly at the answers.

My son can be a bit much when sitting for a haircut. The stylists here are patient, kind, authoritative, and very good at what they do. I'm simple, he's tough. They take care of us both. Thank you!

I am very happy with my hair cuts here. I love how they keep notes about your cut and your kids cuts so you don’t have to remember what blade they used on your son’s hair. Prices are reasonable. They added quarterly coupons and calendar which are super helpful. They do close at 5 which means weekends only for me but the online check in is great.

My two kids and I went in for haircuts, and received great service; two of us had Jaz. She was wonderful with my son who gets anxious with haircuts. She was very engaging, and kept him calm and smiling the entire time while talking super heroes. As for myself, she was again engaging & a delight to talk to. I usually don't have high expectations when going to these sorts of salons; but she certainly exceeded them and gave me EXACTLY what I was hoping for. We will definitely be returning customers. The second stylist was also great with my other kiddo, I just didn't catch her name. The store is VERY busy, but they did their best to get through the list, without sacrificing quality; people need to have more patience. It's definitely worth checking in online first, and REMEMBER to check in when you get there! Half the issue it seemed, was people assuming checking in online was enough; but if you sit down w/o letting them know you're there, the list will auto-bump you.

I have two boys, one is 2 and the other is 9 and autistic. Every time I come here, the stylists are so accommodating to their needs and their quirks! I've met a lot of the stylists with my time coming here and they were all wonderful.

This review is specifically for Arturo. I have never had someone take so much care and attention into my haircut. This is the best haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life. I spent $100 on a haircut for my wedding and Arturo’s cut today was WAY better than that! I will revisit him every time.

Waited an hour for a half assed haircut that will need to be redone in a week. This is just unacceptable, and I'm actually upset that you charged my husband for this. Crooked, choppy, and uneven. Will actively be telling people to stay away from here.

I was planning to get a makeover from Christopher Hopkins because I just never felt like I was getting the right haircut for me. I came here, had Sarah cut my hair, and that ended my plans. She did a wonderful job. My hair is springy, a much better fit for someone 75, I've gotten tons of compliments, and I'm sticking with Sarah!

Mong Ching gave me a fabulous haircut that I still love six weeks later. She gave me the exact haircut I wanted, following a very expensive haircut from four months earlier that had been tweaked a couple of times. Thank you and I will definitely drive from North Portland again.
