Great Clips

I know great clips is the cheap option in town, but when I sent my daughter in with my husband today to get a simple bang trim, I didn’t expect them to absolutely butcher her hair. I’m attaching a before and after. I also noticed that they butchered my son’s hair.

I had a very disappointing experience with Ashley. The station was not clean — there were hairs left on the chair from previous cuts. She didn’t follow my instructions and only trimmed based on length, without understanding the style I wanted. At the end, when removing the cape, she left hair all over my feet and flip flops. When I asked her to blow it off properly, she refused, and I had to do it myself. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional throughout the service. Basic professionalism and courtesy were completely lacking — I would not recommend her services.

Decent place to get a haircut! I've been going for years now, and take my kids as well. None of us have ever had a bad haircut here. The folks are friendly, and well versed in The art of hair cutting. Definitely recommend using the app and signing in online. There can be quite the wait.

I typically don't do chain hair cut places, I try to stick to local barbers. But this location and Elizabeth here changed my perspective. She did a great job on a hair cut and beard trim. I Did the online check in while I was parking then walked in and instantly got it. People were friendly and good conversationalists. Very good experience overall.

Thanks to Mac and Beth for helping me figure out how I want my hair cut! I have spent years trying to figure out “my style” and now I know what I like best. They are excellent people.

I had a little accident with a roller brush the night before, so I came as soon as I could in the morning. Penny did her best to try to get it out but ended up having to cut it. She managed to save most of the hair, and after a wash, I got a little face framing! My hair looks smooth, glossy, and brush-free. Thanks, Penny!

I began going to Great Clips a year ago and have been very pleased with each haircut. I had been referred by a friend to have Amanda cut my hair. She is super! A very kind person and always concerned about detail in her cuts. She is a perfectionist. Amanda has also helped me solve some issues I was having with my hair. I followed her instructions and the problems have been resolved. I especially like that I am able to go to the Great Clips app and get on the waiting list. They sent me a message when it is time for me to head to Great Clips. Love this! Another thing I like is I that I can purchase my haircuts in advance and if there is a price increase I have already paid at a lower rate and saved some money! Great job Amanda! Every stylist at this Great Clips who has cut my hair has done an outstanding job. I’ve been to many barbers in Lawrence and don’t compare to their fades. They are definitely the most experienced hair cutters in town.

Just had hair cut. Always a great experience. The ladies are always so easy and laid back to talk with. The gal I worked with today was amazing as always!!

This is a nice location all the stylists have been great. I think it is always hard to get curly hair to look good and my family has had great success with the stylists here. Sometimes dry breaking hair sneaks up on you and you need a trim at the last minute.
