I moved to Denver about a year ago, and have struggled to find a nail salon that offers quality service, nails that last, friendly workers, and reasonable prices. Blue Sky checks all these boxes for me! I have very difficult nails to work with and they always do a wonderful job! I have no problem getting a same day appointment, as they always have a surplus of talented staff working. Prices are reasonable for being in Denver, and I will always tell my friends to come here! 10/10 for me!
I went to get my hands and feet done, and on my feet I paid to have them cleaned, remove my cuticles and calluses, and put on gel polish. And none of that happened. Just the polish. I had to tell the girl, "Hey, cuticle remover, etc.," but nothing happened. The hands are a far cry from what they do in Miami. Here they care more about quantity than quality, and they're practically competing to see who gets there first. The owner is always hovering around the people who are working, pushing them to do the work. I think it's disrespectful of them to rush people to work. I pay for a service that isn't cheap. At the very least, they should provide quality service! I don't recommend it. If you need something basic, this is the place to go, but quality. NOTHING!
This is hands down the best nail salon in Denver and I’ll never go anywhere else! I’ve been coming here for years now and they are so good to their customers. The staff is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The nail techs are extremely talented. The pedicures are so relaxing. The place is very modern and clean. They are always up-to-date on the latest nail trends and technology. They will also randomly give you $100 gift cards if you go regularly enough as part of their rewards system which is friggin awesome!
Overall, I’ve had a great experience coming here. I’ve gotten my nails done three times and have had different technicians each time and each one of them have been great and truly care about the quality of work that they’re doing as well as what you want as the customer! Great service, quality and prices.
Amanda is the BEST! So creative and perfect execution with every set requested. I love Blue Sky, have been a client since I moved here in 2021 and I’m always leaving with what I ask for so had to take a moment to appreciate them. 10/10 recommend and tell Amanda I sent you ;)
Edit**- read/see photos below for all my appts, 8+ and counting. Seng + Cali are the best. First visit- Loved my manicure! $85 for dip/shellac design. I’ll definitely be back. Seng was incredible, I’ll request her every time. It’s three weeks later and my nails are still rock solid with no chips or gapping under my nails. Third visit - I forgot to add photos of my second time but they were amazing as always. But this third time WOWW my favorite nails yet. Green with gold and red stars for my Barcelona trip. So happy with how they turned out, the photos don’t do it justice. Seng is the BESTTT. Fourth visit - Seng gave me metallic blood red nails for Halloween (when I move my hands it’s so pretty and shiney!). I got them done Oct 22 and it’s now Nov 15th and my first nail has chipped. So 25 days for shellac metallic red nail, and my nails are soo strong. I’ll probably get them replaced in 2-3 days from now. I also got hand tattoos during this set and I’m so obsessed, will likely come more frequently to keep my hands looking perfect. Since I first starting coming to now, Seng has transformed the shape and health of my nails. 5th visit - got a lovely shade of brown on my nails and one yin yang sign on each hand, with gold dots on each finger. Sadly the gold dots rubbed off within a day so this wasn’t my favorite manicure. Lasted four ish weeks before both pointer nails broke. 6th visit - got a mani pedi. Mani is dark red dip, with a light red dot on top that was then blended out. Kinda looks like pomegranate seeds. I like it! Seng tried to use her air brush machine but it wasn’t working, so next time I’ll try to come up with an idea so she can use it again. 7th visit - last nail set by Seng lasted 4 weeks. Seng wasn’t available so I booked with Cali based on reviews. We bounced back and forth with two ideas and if she could pull them off (always come with multiple ideas & be flexible! If my girl can’t do it, why would I force it? I’d rather have great nails that she’s confident she can pull off!). My nails appt, included dip removal took 1 hour 45 mins, but it was bc multiple polishes for cat eye were out and she tried 3+ colors to match my inspo pic. Cali nailed it, it’s a carbon copy of my Pinterest idea. And the shape of my nail is perfect. I’m so thankful she was receptive to feedback and kept trying to perfect my nail idea - unfortunately these nails didn’t last as long as they usually do :( 8th visit Back to Seng! A wonderful valentines nail
I really wanted to love this place because the staff was so kind and welcoming, but I am honestly very disappointed with the quality of my nails. I spent over an hour here getting a builder gel set, and for $75 I expected something clean and professional. Instead, the nails came out way too thick, lopsided, and uneven. The polish isn’t smooth, doesn’t fully cover to the cuticles, and overall just looks rushed. It’s frustrating because I don’t have time to come back to have them fixed since I’m busy with school, and this experience was definitely not worth the price I paid. I regret spending this much here, and unfortunately I won’t be returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because while the staff were lovely, the quality was absolutely not acceptable for what I paid.
I had a basic gel manicure done here on Tuesday and within hours the first nail fell off. I called and they said I could come get them redone, so I came back in Thursday with only one nail still painted. I specifically got a manicure for a wedding I was MOH in that Friday, and having to run across town to get them redone was not something I had time for. The first time I got a micro French with chrome, but the second time I only had time for a simple pink. When I asked to be refunded the difference, they were very dismissive — as if I was the inconvenience and not the poor quality of their work. They offered me a $10 gift card, but since I will not be returning, I asked for a refund instead. After some back and forth, they offered a $15 refund (which didn’t even cover how much I tipped) but were rude the entire conversation. I should also note that during the manicure my manicurist was watching television on her phone not paying much attention while doing my nails, the entire time. Poor quality manicure and poor service, photos show time stamps
I always get complements about my nails. Blue Sky is My favorite nail salon. They have a Professional and nice staff. They are respectful of your time and provide the BEST service. I love my Gel X set and always look forward to my appointments. They even have an app for scheduling services and a loyalty program as well.
I’ve been coming here since they opened and I’ve always had a great experience. I think for me finding a nail tech is like finding a hairstylist, you need to find the one that works for you. I was seeing a nail tech who eventually left and started his own business, then I asked Tony which nail tech would be best suited for what I was looking for and that’s when he connected me with Willie. Willie always does an incredible job on my nails and gets excited when I bring in new designs. They recently implemented a loyalty program and I was surprised when I walked in and Tony handed me a card with a $100 credit. It’s also a very nice touch when you walk in and they know who you are when you walk through the door 🥲 ( shows that I’ve been VERY loyal🤣). I’ve been very happy since day 1, and if there’s ever any issues they are happy to work with you to resolve them. If you are looking for a new nail salon. This is your place.
