Tip & Toe Salon

I arrived at the salon for a french manicure. They told me it was walk in only. The salon was very busy that day. The nail techs were working on 3 clients at a time. After about a 45 minute wait, I finally got my manicure. That lasted about 4 days and 3 nails began to chip. They were shellacked but they should have lasted me at least 2 weeks if not longer. This is what happens when you go to a salon that is servicing more then 1 client at a time. They were in a rush and it shows on my nails. Just look at those cuticles! See pictures attached. I will not be going back to them again for this reason. I do not recommend them at all. Very disappointed for $60. This is the 2nd time that my nails chipped after going there.

So disappointed. My normal place was closed so I wanted to try Tip N Toe. I wanted a deluxe pedi (which was great) and an acrylic fill and gel polish. I paid $93 plus two $10 tips. Within 3 days my nails were chipping. I drove 45 minutes back to this location and was told it was the brand and it could be expired. She said she would fix it and to pick a color. I chose something similar in color as I wanted it to be as close to my toe color as possible but I didn’t want the same thing happening so I didn’t want the exact one. She then said they were only fixing the chipped nails and that the polish I picked wouldn’t match the other polish on my nails that weren’t chipped since they were only fixing the chipped ones. I said I didn’t want them to not match. She said that’s why you need to pick a new color 🤦🏻‍♀️. I let them choose the color. The polish didn’t go to the edge of my nails. I pointed it out a few times. I then asked why and he said it was because it was my real mail and not the acrylic. This makes no sense to me. I have never had problems with chipping nor has a nail tech ever painted my nails so they don’t look “finished”. I was very disappointed and sadly will not be back. The first two pictures show the chips. The last 3 shows the new paint job.

Do not recommend. The lady told me "shewouldn't wrap my nails because she's never heard of acetone hurting anyone's skin. It didn't hurt her skin and she's been doing it for decades." My nails are all different shapes and lengths. My middle finger is very crooked. She told me my nails were too short for almond but then did almond. She kept trying to upsale when I had clearly said no many times. I still have my old set smeared all over my hands. While I was there two other customers complained and she explained why they don't do it the customers way. She told me they don't wrap because it makes other customers wait. There was literally NO ONE WAITING. I'm so mad about this set. I should have left the moment she told me she doesn't wrap because it doesn't bother her. Do not go here

I went to tip and toe to get acrylics for the first time in years. Vincent did an absolute phenomenal job! Will be going back again.

I've been going here for years, this is the only nail salon I'll visit now! They do amazing work every single time, they are super consistent, gentle, detailed, and thorough. I always get the dip and an occasional pedicure and it's always phenomenal. I can't recommend them enough.

I keep wanting to like them and keep giving them a try because they're nice people and are cheap. But it's frustrating to make an appointment and sit and wait forever to be seen. An appointment prioritizes the person who's scheduled ahead of time and showed up on time, not the three people who walked in off the street ahead of me. I'd rather pay a few bucks more and have my time be respected.

Went in without an appointment, they were able to do a gel manicure on the spot. My manicurist (Nhan Lu) did a really nice job. He was also efficient and skilled as my manicure was perfect. He wrapped it up with a short hand and arm massage at the end. Typically I don’t really enjoy the nail salon massage but I did this time. It was relaxing. I’ll be back.

I loved coming here I'm now going back from now on. I can't remember the lady who did my nails but I love her work and she's so sweet! See you tomorrow! I can't wait to get my new set.

I have been getting my nails done here since August. Before I started going here, I took a few years off of having my nails done. Before that, I had gone to several other salons for over 40 years. Through the years, the way they do your nails has changed. I like this place. Simply put, they can quickly give you a quality manicure, or fill, at a reasonable price. You can request a technician that you prefer. Appointments work best for that. I recommend this salon. I haven't had a pedicure, so I can't comment on that! Very clean, very nice staff.
