I truly enjoyed my experience at Lion Salon! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. This was my first time at the salon and my first time with Danielle. She was AMAZING! I found her via Instagram, reached out about the style I was looking for and she was super quick to respond! I get nervous about cutting my hair but she was great in guiding me in the right direction. Its been a few weeks since my cut and I could not be happier. I've received so many compliments! I will definitely be back. :)

I am in love with the perm I got working with Abbie, she is a BOSS. I have the virgin hair that has never been dyed or permed or anything other than the occasional curling iron, so going in for a perm at almost 40 was a bit nerve wracking -- but Abbie and Rayna (GM) were nothing but clear and professional, making sure that they understood my end-goal and that I was utilizing the services that would get me there. There was ZERO pressure to buy extras, do more treatments, look at excess products, etc. After the first treatment, my hair REFUSED to cooperate and it went back to straight (we understood this was a possibility at the beginning and planned accordingly, so it wasn't a surprise: I have a ton of hair and it doesn't hold curls easily 😅). Abbie and Rayna got me in again and the second time was the charm! I am SO thrilled and I'm excited to go back for the cut and shaping. Pros: clean, airy, soothing-- everything you expect from Aveda branding, and when you're getting chemicals applied to your hair the breeze from the door is *especially* welcome! The stylists were professional, clear communicators, and Abbie especially took the time to explain the different steps and educate me on how to care for my newly wavy hair 🥰 Cons: the drive. I'm in Norman, but honestly? I'm really glad I took the time to stick with a business I know and love even if it took driving up to the city to make it happen. Make a day of it if you're there-- there is a succulent/tropical plant greenhouse down the street, an oyster bar, and obviously the mall with other restaurants nearby.

I met Danielle after months of waiting to find the right stylist. As soon as I sat in her chair she spent time actively listening to pieces of my life and what I envisioned for my hair. She was kind but straight to the point and always finds a way to let you know how to achieve your results even if that means multiple visits. Her talent is nothing compared to her authenticity as a person, which translates to finding one who is constantly challenging herself and educating on new processes. I love Lion Salon! They greet you with a glass of cucumber lime water. The shampoo included a short scalp massage. Courtney is friendly and does a great job cutting my hair. I’m now a regular at this place! Also, they have a discount for the shampoo and haircut on Wednesdays.

Morgan has been my stylist for nearly a year and it is always such a positive experience! The whole staff at Lion Salon is incredibly friendly and the salon is so trendy and clean inside, which makes it a great environment. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone in the OKC-Norman area!
