Had a wonderful first time experience with Julia. I had a general idea for what I wanted for my intricate nails, so I brought in several photos for inspo. She helped me combine the design ideas I loved. She was very detail oriented and skilled with the design & taking care of the nail shape and cuticles. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nail art salon in the city!

Bisou is incredible! They’re unmatched in: • artistry • gentleness • attention to detail • knowledge of nail science • informed about Japanese products & techniques (which are unequivocally the best) I’ve seen *almost* everyone at Bisou. They all possess extreme skill without a magnifying glass in ways I didn’t know was possible. My personal first choices are Tomo & Julia, then Cece— particularly because they attend to my thin, yet rough cuticles exquisitely, and paint to the edges flawlessly, delivering stunning results without me needing to say a word (though, I do genuinely enjoy chatting with them). They are perfectionists by nature. They’ll even prep if I send ideas beforehand! After nearly a year with Bisou, my nails and cuticles are exceedingly healthy and strong. I’m absurdly aggressively with my hands, but their work never lifts, chips, or peels. If it weren’t for my personal dislike for the appearance of growth, I could keep my nails for 4-7 weeks easily (Instead I do 3 wks) Whether I bring inspo photos, have no idea what I want, or just describe a vision, they always deliver something phenomenal with kindness, patience and faultless creativity. Bisou’s service, calm atmosphere, talent, and communication are second to none. I’ve tried many places, but Bisou has made me a loyalist for life. Thank you for being marvelous in every way and bringing so much joy to my life!

Came here for my wedding nails and Julia did a lovely job based on my inspo pics! Appreciated how detail-oriented she was and I can’t stop looking at my nails.

I'll never go anywhere else as long as I live in NYC! I’ve been a regular customer for coming up on 2 years now. I’ve had my nails done by many of the technicians and they are all very talented and meticulous. My nails always last perfectly for the 3-4 weeks between visits. When I couldn’t get them done due to COVID restrictions, my manicure lasted perfectly for 10 weeks before I saw any lifting! It's expensive, but completely worth the money. Recommend booking very far in advance, especially if you want to go weekend or evening - appointments go quickly.

Really tough to get the first appointment, but once you do you get first pick at future appointments. Amazing art. Everyone is amazing but I love going to Kyoko. She is incredibly creative and her skill is amazing. She takes great care of my nails and is an amazing artist. I am client facing so I don't get crazy designs but Kyoko is definately capable of doing anything you need.

My first two nail salon experiences were done by the wonderful team at Bisou -Nail Art Atelier- located in NoLita. The first time, I reserved an appointment with a Ako for Gel One Color. Upon my early arrival, I filled out an information form, chose a color of my liking in the waiting area and cleansed my hands in the restroom as the Senior Tech was finishing up with a client. The second time, I reserved an appointment with Lily for Bisou-gel removal with basic manicure ([Included]: Gel removal, nail shaping, cuticle care, clear polish application). At the end of my appointment, I accidentally grazed a couple nails that had not fully dried against something as I was getting ready to leave. I felt terrible to ruin the nails so quickly especially since Lily warned me it would take about ten minutes until the clear coat completely set. She came to my rescue to fix them right up for me. (˶‾᷄ ⁻̫ ‾᷅˵) I liked that each nail tech station had a built-in phone charging shelf as well as a storage bin for your bag or other belongings. I really appreciated when the nail technicians walked me through each step so I knew what was going on or where to move my hands. It is cool to see everyone in action caring for nails and creating beautiful work. This business’ facility is very clean, organized, and professional. I highly recommend everyone to reserve an appointment to treat their nails with great attention here. I moved out of state recently but will definitely make the journey over to Bisou -Nail Art Atelier- to keep my nails healthy and pretty.

Have been coming here for two years. Quality and service is outstanding - the nail artists (I usually see Ako) can do any design and also give ideas for different colors that will look good. They are definitely pricier than your average salon but the gel is high quality and lasts much longer and if you get a design it is a work of art! The only drawback is that it can be impossible to get an appointment. I recommend you make your next appointment while in the salon at your current appointment - I was luckily able to book for next month and December on the days and time I wanted. If you aren’t able to do that, you can stalk their Instagram page because they usually post last minute openings there

I have tried both signature and prime art, both of which have turned out great. The setting is very professional and there’s a great variety of options to choose from. You’re also free to make requests if you do prime art. Scheduling is really easy on their online scheduler. I plan to try out their minimal art. The nails last at least 3 weeks. I get them changed out every three weeks because of the gap that forms due to the newly grown nail at the bottom but you could wear them longer considering they don’t chip and were in perfect condition after 3 weeks.

It was my first time booking at this salon and I had a wonderful experience. I booked an intricate nail art service with Tomo for my wedding nails. In my frenzy to get all of my beauty appointments completed, I got my appointment day mixed up. Thankfully, I was still able to make my appointment and Tomo was so accommodating, kind, and talented. The salon environment was quiet and relaxing and they seemed to anticipate all of client needs; from a little bowl to place rings during the service, to a bin to place your bag so you don’t have to put it on the floor. I’ll definitely be back and plan to book Tomo again.
