I always go to Mel (Malika) and she is THE BEST. She cuts and colors my hair and does a wonderful job. Also, she gives a gentle but HIGHLY EFFECTIVE bouncy high volume blowout that lasts forever. No yanking, pulling or high heat. I highly recommend her!! Rest of staff is lovely as well.

Been coming here to Karen for the past two years and always have the best experience. It’s daunting moving to a big city and needing blonde highlights done right with the plethora of options, but I was so lucky to find the perfect place and stylist! Karen always has extra attention to detail and really cares about the result of her work every time. Can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I am a commitment phone to finding a regular professional for nearly everything but I continue to come back to this salon to see Lily (Liliana), because she gives me the best, high quality haircut (all I can comment on) in the time that I need it done, at a reasonable price. I have been coming here for nearly 3 years and am happy every time. Highly recommend this salon and Lily!

Tatiana did SUCH a good job with my haircut!!! Just went today - after 8 months since my last cut! I brought a few photos with me, I wanted to just have a trim and add curtain bangs. She made my hair look so healthy again without taking off much length at all! (That’s always my biggest worry, because I love my long hair - but she nailed it!). The curtain bangs look amazing too, exactly as I wanted. She checked her work many many times throughout the cut so I knew she was experienced and the cut is impeccably even. My blowout is just perfect, too. And she was very gentle throughout. Love this neighborhood salon and will be back!

I’ve been going to Karen at this salon for 7+ years at this point and will never go elsewhere so long as I live in/around NYC. She does a fantastic job every single time and is incredibly knowledgeable and honest on what looks best depending on your hair type. I have really curly hair and can’t trust anyone else with my hair other than Karen.

Malika is truly a magician with hair. She listens carefully to what you’re looking for and always delivers results that feel both natural and elevated. I’ve seen her for cuts and color, and I consistently leave feeling great. She’s really skilled and provides great customer service - highly recommend!

Malika genuinely has magic fingers. It’s like she knows exactly what I want, and does it to a T. I’m a big fan of the OG, 90s blowouts and as a result typically avoid younger stylists because they just lack that “je ne sais quoi” but she is the only exception I’ll ever make. Extremely picky with who cuts my hair and after just two times of being to her, I will never go to any other stylist. Everytime she has touched my hair people stop me on the streets to inquire and compliment it! Reasonable price as well for the city.

I've been going to Malika for many appointments now & she always does a beautiful job. Not only is she kind & thoughtful, but always goes above & beyond. My favorite hairstylist in NYC. Would recommend anyone to go to her.
