I'll start off by saying that the employees were very nice, but I would have preferred to walk out with a good haircut, even if it meant being treated poorly. I showed McKenzie not only a picture of the haircut I wanted but also explained what I envisioned. I specifically asked for my hair to be cut to my collarbone with some a little face framing. However, she cut my hair much shorter than my collarbone, resulting in what looks more like a bob cut. While I don’t hate the bob, I’m really upset about the face framing. Honestly, I think I could have done a better job myself, and I’ve only ever cut Barbie’s hair! If you’re not familiar, she clearly wasn’t, face framing involves creating a diagonal line away from the face, which is very different from curtain bangs—the style she ended up giving me. These curtain bangs were a disaster. Instead of being blended, they were cut straight across my face in two chunky sections. They looked horrendous. I felt so ugly that I cried hard. Fortunately, I was able to get it fixed two days later, and I like it now. But paying $50 for such a horrible haircut is outrageous. I recommend going somewhere else if you don't want to end up looking ridiculous. I would share a picture, but I'm too embarrassed.

I had Heidi cut my hair and she did a great job! She took what I asked for and did just that! She also talked to me and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend Heidi to anyone!

This was my first time at Helium. Kati greeted me right away & was very friendly. She made conversation while I waited for my appointment & offered refreshments. Keirsten was my stylist, she was very friendly, personable & nailed my color & cut! Prices match the level of service & the overall vibe is awesome. I highly recommend Helium!

She just messed up my daughters hair very badly. She asked for a trim for her curtain bangs and what she got was her curtain bangs cut off and short regular choppy bangs in front. My daughter came home crying hard. If I could give a zero or less than zero, that's what I would give. And this hairdresser knows what curtain bangs are bc she trimmed my daughters curtain bangs last time. She didn't even have the decency to say that she messed up. THIS IS NOT OKAY.

Baylie did a great job with my hair. It turned out just how I wanted however I was charged 2x more than I’ve ever spent on getting my hair done. I do have thick hair and extra color and toner was used for blonding however the bill was $258, I still gave a nice tip because I was happy with the results and my bill came out to be $298. Unfortunately, I will never be returning do to the outrageous price to have my hair done.

The bridal party I was in went to this salon for wedding day make up.. the space is beautiful, and the staff is friendly, but there were somethings that were upsetting. The bride was told that she had to do her own lipstick because the make up professional didn’t feel confident in her ability to do it. I felt that they were very rushed, not very concerned about the quality of their service. My contour was left very unblended as well. Honestly, it was overpriced for the service we received.

I booked an appointment to do my hair today with Tyla and she was amazing!! I loved how my balayage came out! She was very professional and explained everything so well,she made me feel very comfortable and was very friendly,thank you!

The pricing was not clear at all. I went in to get my roots redone.I was told it would be $41 when I made the appointment and then after she started she said if i wanted her to tone it, it would be an extra $20 and make my total $90 not including a blow dry. They were going to charge $15 just to blow dry it after washing the bleach out of my hair and they only told me it would be extra after I asked. I ended up leaving with orange hair and fixed it myself with professional products from sallys. THE STYLIST WAS GREAT but the prices the salon charges is ridiculous. After I left feedback the owner left me a voicemail saying if I want clarification on the prices to call the salon back. Not helpful.

Helium is an absolute gem, the staff have small town work ethic/morals- yet at the same time provide big city services and performance. Insane talent. I walk out feeling my best every single time. Gorgeous salon!!
