We have had great experiences with other stylist but we received a haircut from Danielle and she didn’t tell us she accidentally cut down to the skin on our child during the service. We noticed the patch after we left. We monitor our child closely who sits still and is polite to ensure this doesn’t happen. Unfortunately, after 4 weeks the spot has not grown back and has doubled in size which has led us to need to seek medical care. We’ve left a corporate review but not a single person has reached out to us.
Very Poor Service - do not recommend. Booked with Specific Stylists at 11:40 AM for my son. Had a tight schedule that day, needed this done, plus a dozen other things, before a trip for the summer. Arrived and checked in at 11:20 AM; I left him there for a quick stop, returning at 11:50 AM. He was on deck next in-line, with a 10-minute wait, so it was 20 minutes past the appointment. Another quick stop and returned at 12:25 PM. He was still number one on deck and now has a 35-minute wait. Specific Stylists was with a different customer.. Stood up to ask questions, and was ignored by the staff. We Left. He said no one called his name, nor was he offered another stylist. This is unacceptable service. The only reason we went was for Specific Stylists, and my son likes this place--lost customer. Kicker - as soon as we left, they were quick to kick us off the board - I got the automated you have been removed email. This location needs better management.
This store has a lot of inexperienced stylists who are just not great at cutting mens hair and don't seem to have an eye for a good cut. I've been to two different stylists here and always had to ask them for corrections. I generally enjoy Sports Clips for the hot towel and scalp massage, but again the stylists I've had here really don't know how to give a half-way decent scalp massage. Please train the staff better if you are going to hire less experienced stylists. THE CAVE in Clayton whips out a much better haircut in less time, but lacks the hot towel and scalp massage.
I did not have a good experience. I first asked for them to start with a 1 and blend into the top. She wasn't able to do that without having a clear step up, so I then just had her go all the way up like a undercut. Not what I wanted but it would have been fine, but she wasn't able to do that. She left alot of little hair around my head. I wanted a beard trim but after seeing my hair I went ahead and passed on that. I did ask her if she could blend in my side burns and again wasn't able to do that correctly as well. That was a pretty simple ask I felt especially when they offer beard trims. I now have to go pay extra to some else to fix this. Definitely will not be going back.
Danielle is awesome and hilarious. Cut my wife's hair as well as my own. I got the MVP. Always love the experience. Give Danielle a raise.
The stylist was amazing!! She was very professional and seemed very passionate about her work. My son was very comfortable and we plan to return.
I’ve been to this location at White Oak two times now and both times have had Ariyana as my stylist and have been very happy with my results! She does my fade and cut perfectly and I leave feeling so good. I will always request her when I come to Sports Clips!
I've been getting my hair cut here for years. This location is always very clean organized with an attentive staff. Stylists come and go but I always get a great haircut for reasonable price. And the MVP is a great addition.
I have searched several barbers shops, and Sloans- and no one could really cut my hair the way I liked it. Until I walked in one day and found “Mrs. Teri” and I was very impressed, and happy at the attention to detail that she took. I been going for years now- and I don’t let no one else cut my hair. And most importantly you don’t have to sit there for hours waiting for your turn! (Which I was accustomed to do) You can actually make an appointment on the FREE app!! And then just show up! Which is a GAME CHANGER!!! And very efficient! And i believe all haircut come with a wash! And some packages have to where they put a warm towel on your face while they’re washing off the cut hair. The whole 9-yards so you and I just walking out leaving hair everywhere.
The haircut was decent, barber was a little rude at first and didn’t let me finish explaining the cut I wanted and lectured me. But why do they always cut the sideburns without asking? I’ve been here plenty of times (sometimes they ask), but every time they cut the sideburns, it’s never straight. I grew it out to bottom of my ear, now it’s at the top of my ear. One side is higher than the other and I had to shave more of it off now it just looks funky. I’m not sure if it’s procedure to just go ahead and shave them off, but that was a lot to do at once without asking.
