Very bad Acrylic job. Will be going somewhere else to hopefully get them fixed
Whoever is leaving bad reviews for this sweet place is cruel. They are professional, clean, quick and NOT OVER PRICED. Please please come help support your sweet local nail techs here. Loved going here and will come back. The owner did awesome on my nails.
Never go here!! They are really bad at nails and pedicures!! Couldn't polish the entire toenail, rush to get you in and out, nail polish so thick, it took a entire day to dry. Had to pay twice because had a wedding to go to and had to go to another place just to get it done right. Very bad!! If I could give it negative stars, I definitely would!!
My sister and I walked in to get fills for the first time. I didn’t bother checking reviews and everything seemed promising, since it looked like they were trying to follow all the COVID guidelines properly. I saw them wiping down work areas and chairs. In my opinion, the guy applying the acrylic just doesn’t have the skills to do it properly. The beads were way to wet, and due to this he said he was incapable of repairing the sidewalls of my set. I know other places can, and before this I thought it was a common skill for nail techs. When he was filing my nails, it was very rough, and one of my fingers ended up bleeding. In the end, both of our nails were way shorter than what we wanted, and we were both charged around $50 for a fill with gel polish. I will say that the old lady who painted my nails did a very nice job. She was meticulous, but unfortunately the filled set was of such poor quality that it can’t make up for her efforts. Overall, I would give a 3 stars since they were clean, friendly, and timely, but the rough filing on my nails and the end result brings it down to 2 stars.
A friend and I went in to get our nails done. I needed a full set she just needed a fill. When sat down he didn’t ask what I wanted all, instead hurriedly started on my nails. He went a lot shorter than I had asked and barely gave me time to go over my nails when he asked if I liked them. The filer was too hot and burned my skin in spots to which he just said sorry and kept going without being gentler. For my friend he told her he couldn’t do a fill and that she needed to get a new set and proceeded to charge for a full set and an additional 10 for taking off the old nails. When shaping her nails he then charged her another 10 just for wanting a simple coffin shape And didn’t tell her it was an additional charge till after the fact. There are also spots missing in the paint he did on both our nails and he even cut her hard enough that she continued to bleed a few hours later. He didn’t tell her he had accidentally cut her nails either. Just casually put the file away without sanitizing it or anything which makes me nervous for future people and for my hands. My hands are still throbbing hours later and sensitive to touch. He is unprofessional, unsanitary, and lies about pricing
The owner who did my nails (Alex) was very argumentative. I am Never going back. I gave them clear instructions and tried talking over with them what I wanted done before we started. In the end I was not able to get the color I desired, do to lack of wanting to understand what their customer wanted. I felt as if they were just trying to get me back out the door, so they can make their next dollar. He and one other woman were working at the time, so I was left waiting after I have already called ahead and made an appointment prior to me walking in. My time was wasted and so was my money. I never write reviews unless it’s absolutely necessary. *no stars
Walked in at 10:30 am on a Friday and there were no customers. This should have been my first clue. Be careful of the pricing, feel like it was sneaky and was VERY surprised when told our total at check out. Two pedicures with gel nail polish was $138.00. Do not recommend.
I went in today and they were very nice. The guy who did my nails was very polite; friendly and talkative but most importantly, he did a wonderful job. I’m going back for a pedicure Friday! I was charged exactly what the board said for pricing.
I've been going here for 2 &1/2 yrs and at 1st Alex (the owner & only one qualified) did and OK job. That slowly changed and my visit today was the last straw. He uses the same filer on everyone & it gets really hot really fast. Today was no different, except 3 women came in after me looking for full sets. Being the only one to do the job, he sped up tremendously, burning some of my fingers. He made my nails super thick and left glue all over all my fingers. When I asked him if he could make them a bit thinner (I understand I wanted something special) he said he could not. My nails look like they have been filled twice without a file touching them. Knowing how upset I was, he still charged me $57 and told me to scrape the glue off at home. When I asked what to do about the burns from the file, he ignored me. My honest opinion: Alex is actually good, but it's obvious he doesn't care anymore. Over the last 2 & 1/2 years of working 7 days a week with no employees to help him at all, I think it's taking a toll. I hate to go somewhere else, but I refuse to be burned and yelled at for wanted a decent job done on my nails. I will take my money to someone else every two weeks. :(
I came in to get my nails done with my bestfriend charged us both 60$ for 2 colors and the paint started chipping off. The lady was super rude and I noticed they don’t even use jell or polish they used nail polish and the lady wasn’t very polite. Never going back again. Ever.
