I hadn't had my hair highlighted in a number of years. Aimee had recently given me a cut I loved so I decided to have the highlights done as well. She nailed it! I couldn't be happier.

Always a pleasure at Hairtrendz. Marybeth is an awesome hairdresser. She does a superb cut and color. She is a perfectionist! Hairtrendz and Marybeth never disappoint!

I would give negative stars if I could for Hair Trendz in Coventry, CT. I tried to call and book a perm in mid May 2024. I was told on the phone that I couldn’t just book a perm, I had to come in for a consult. Really? Because I don’t know what I’m talking about? I’ve been perming my hair since I was 16 (currently in my 50s). So I book my consult. And lo and behold, I know what I’m talking about and my perm gets booked. For July 10, 2024. That’s the first available spot for a perm because there are only 2 people in the entire shop that do perms. Ok. 2 months is longer than I wanted to wait but ok. I entered the appt in my calendar and patiently waited. I show up for the appt to be told it was canceled because I didn’t respond to multiple voicemails. I ALWAYS listen to voicemails. I received zero from Hair Trendz. Also, at the time of my booking I was NOT informed that if I missed a confirmation call, my appt would be canceled. Today was going to be my first visit to Hair Trendz in Coventry, CT. I will NEVER attempt to book an appt with them again. Poor customer service relations; nothing was attempted to be done to rebook an appointment for me. The attitude was, it was 100% your fault not ours-Oh well. $150 for a perm plus tip is what they just lost times the number of perms I will get in the future. What is the saying when it comes to word-of-mouth? Oh yes, I remember, a good review with good services a person may tell one or two people but if you have a bad experience with a business, you will tell strangers in a grocery line!!!!!

Will not ever use or recommend this Salon ever!!! My daughter had to have her hair dyed 2 times because the stylist didn’t put the color all over her hair and told me it was because we didn’t bleach it that it didn’t take the very bright maroon/pink color. Only for the color after 1 week to almost completely come out… I was told it was our fault for not using the salons products to wash her hair… which the stylist at no time EVER recommended and after $200.00 I have to do it myself which I should have done in the first place! Terrible and the response from the owner is terrible as well! I already spent 4 hours at the salon! I’m not spending 2 more!

My daughter came in asking for a haircut that involved the combining of two different styles. She wanted something really outlandish and probably designed to torture her father. The stylists were very nice and explained how that particular style would never work with her type of hair and it would be impossible to combine the two styles. Miraculously they gave her a cut that both she and I loved. And the price was very reasonable! Great experience.

Loree-el is amazing! I had so many questions and she had all the answers on how to best maintain and style my new hair. So so happy with my new look!
