Ashley is one of the most authentic people I’ve ever come across. She is extremely knowledgeable about different hair types. She helped me understand my hair much better and how to “tame” my specific hair conditions. (frizz, etc.) I asked her & she also showed me what would work best for my hair. She was extremely knowledgeable , kind, empathetic, & completely honest—which she makes it clear that she’s answering my questions and providing knowledge & recommendations. She made things extremely easy. She made my day after having a really bad day—heard me & let me know I was valued & to keep my head up when I came in extremely overwhelmed. I hadn’t had a haircut in over 2 years. I forced myself past my anxiety and worries/concerns. She knew exactly how to make me feel comfortable and okay. Listened. Showed compassion and encouraged me. She should be promoted or get a raise just for customer service excellence at the very least; if you guys do something like that? Thank you so much for all you do & for being a major blessing!! :) I look forward to my next appointment with you!!!! :D

Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. The stylist appeared to be quite inexperienced — it took over an hour and a half just for a trim, and the initial result didn’t match what I had requested. I had to explain the issue and have it corrected, which made me late for my next appointment. I understand that everyone is still learning, but I was disappointed with the level of service and the impact it had on my schedule. I hope this feedback is helpful moving forward.

Rolled in just before closing. Asked for a quick fade around the bottom. Leave the top alone. She was apprehensive at first. Then accepted. I was worried I would regret it. But I didn't. Ashley at Grand Avenue location in Sun Prairie was great. Friendly, good conversation, and thorough. Only reason I came was everyone else was booked after finding out my barber went home early. I'll be back to see again Ashley for sure.
