Great Clips

An average shop. I’m usually the only female there - don’t care how my hair is cut -:) They’re always clean and neat. The staff is always female - again, I don’t go often, who are cheerful and polite. Once a young woman cut my hair at this location: spent an hour nursing my short hair and didn’t leave enough hair to go behind my ears. Oh well. It will grow back anyway. No biggie. Today’s lady left enough hair to go behind ears but overall is pretty bad. Well, it will grow back 😂 Haircut and shampoo are two items, which is fine since I don’t need it - usually go before swimming. Come to think about it, they never asked me if I’d like to get shampoo before cut. Except this time, they always use the hand held mirror to show my back. Perhaps too little hair was cut, there’s no need ha ha ha. They don’t take reservations but check in - it’s about 30 minutes out in the afternoons.

Terrible haircuts on 5 of my kids. Told stylist I wanted fades on all their cuts, halfway through, I told stylist if she was giving them fades, because it didn't look like it, she said she wasn't done. They did not get fades and several of the haircuts are not even straight. Provided a picture on one of them and it looks nothing like the photo.

I go to Great Clips of the Belmont Shopping Mall due to the convenience of being near to my home. This store is growing business; which unfortunately impacts their wait time to get a haircut. In the last 3 months, my expected wait time was above 50 minutes when I use the app to book my appointment. Usually there are only 2-3 stylists available, when they have capacity for more. I go on weekdays. There is some rotation with the stylists that work at the store. Every time I get a haircut, I find myself with a new stylist. Due to this, my expectations are to get a haircut and if the cut is not as expected, it will grow again. I also need to say that there are a couple of stylists that are the core of the store and you can see and admire how well do they service and cut hair. Two things are required for this store to raise star level - waiting time (add more stylists) and more stability with the stylists.

Went there once to get a hair cut, the people were incredibly nice and the cut looked really good too - they also actually give you what you want while also having good conversation

Walked in with LONG hair halfway down my butt asked for 4 inches cut and some layers and walked out with hair just below my shoulders. This should’ve left my hair long. She cut over a foot off of my hair that I had been growing out, this is not okay.

1/6/23- I went back and got my haircut by Hope, it came out perfect! She gave me the exact angle short bob I showed her in the picture. I'm very happy with the cut from Hope! 10/22- First time here because I've always been leary of cheap haircuts, but they're right across the street and I wanted something quick and affordable. The service was great! I downloaded the app and checked in online so I didn't have to wait when I arrived. Madison gave me a wonderful shampoo head massage and trimmed my hair just how I wanted it. She didn't go too short right away, and let me look to decide if that was enough or to cut more. I will definitely go back for my haircuts. No wait, same day service and I was out of there in 30 min.

The entire team at this n Great Clips location is excellent. But I must commend Maricel for her attention to every last detail of my haircut. I have paid twice as much for haircuts that we nowhere near as good. Their app allows you to check to see if there is a wait, and if so, how long it is. You can then digitally “get in line” by putting your name in on the screen. It works great! I am a very satisfied customer.

Took my 15 month old twins in for Hair cuts on the evening of 2/3. Maricela was one of the lovely ladies who did one of my boys haircuts and was amazing . I did not get the name of the other woman but she did just as good of a job on my other child. We will be back for their next cuts for sure .

My girlfriend's experience was fine. Mine on the other hand, my name was messed up, I don't know how, since it's on my account, my haircut wasn't entirely what I asked for, razor burn galore, and hair gel I didn't ask for. And no name tags, so I don't even know the stylists name. Definitely changing locations, as I have good experience with Great Clips as a whole.
