I spent over $100 a week ago for a pedicure and a manicure. There were only like two people working, and I waited a long time, even though I had an appointment. Whoever did the pedicure made it really painful. The last straw is that one of the nails broke a week after I had them put on. I did not do anything strenuous or use my nails for anything except normal stuff. I came in to ask That they either fix the broken nail or just take off all the nails. The gentleman just seemed confused and turned back to the other person he was working on without saying if he would get to me when he was done with the other person. I don't get my nails done often at all, and this was extremely disappointing.
I wouldn’t even give it a star if I had a choice. Online it let me make an appointment for 8:30am, online it states their salon opens at 8:30am. Come to the store nobody is there, and sign says they open at 9. I called and it went to voicemail in which I could not leave one due to it not being set up. SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT EARLIER THAN THEIR OPENING TIME!!!! It wasted my time! When I actually got my nails done the tech didn’t ask my the shape of nail I wanted, did not touch my cuticles, and I showed her an inspiration picture of what I wanted, she took a picture of it and never referenced it. I wanted french tip with flowers she gave me a solid color nail and no design. During my appointment she would take SEVERAL breaks to call and text on her phone preventing her from listening to me when I had tried correcting her. The professionalism in this place is completely wrong and they do NOT seem to care about you leaving satisfied. UPDATE: They saw my review and offered to redo nails with discount for wrongful appointment time. They were nice about trying to get the problem solved and reasonable with the solution. It should not have happened in the first place, but I’m happy that they are taking it into account.
Kai was amazing!! My nails turned out so chic and perfect (even though it was a struggle to color match with the inspo picture but that was on me). Been here 3x and have never been annoyed with the nails i received. Well done!!
I showed John a picture of what I wanted, and he was spot on! He hand-did everything, including the French tip, and it turned out perfect. He was so thorough with each nail, making sure the shape and length all matched beautifully. I really appreciate his attention to detail—I’ll definitely be coming back to him!
Acrylic nails fell off after week and a half. Three weeks ago I get acrylics with a floral design for my friend’s wedding. The acrylics and design were gorgeous and I was really happy with them. However, they fell off within a week and a half. Several years ago I got dip nails from De Pere natural nail and proceeded to compare all other dip nails against them because they did such a fantastic job. Considering this past experience with them, I was extremely disappointed with these acrylics.
Lily did my nails for an upcoming trip to Greece!! She did a fantastic job and they look exactly like the photo I showed. Highly recommend. Every worker was very sweet and helped me pick out colors as well!
That I just got at the salon. It was no doubt the most painful pedicure of my life. And I’m not talking about him digging out my ingrown toenails, because he didn’t even do that. He was so incredibly rough. I asked him multiple times to ease up And it was so painful that I actually even asked him to not even paint my toes, because I couldn’t wait to get out of that chair. I was there to treat myself and spend the gift card that my kiddos gave me for Mother’s Day… Absolutely horrendous experience.
I am always so excited to go get my nails done, they always do an amazing job fulfilling my nail dreams. The techs always do an amazing job and take their time to make sure all of my nails come out perfectly!
I have been here probably close to 10 times and unfortunately your experience fully depends on the technician you get, although I’ve never had as bad of a pedicure I got today. I will attach pictures but it took close to 1.5 hours, he applied 4 layers on one foot and 3 on the other which makes them look lumpy and thick, and it was overall just a not great experience. I’m not sure if it was one of his first times or what, but I wish there was a standard. It does seem like the ladies tend to do a better job than the men do and I know I’ve had a good experience with Dacia, so if I decide to go back there I will request her. I would recommend finding one you like and requesting them instead of going with someone random and wasting $80 like I did.
See. Dacia. Right now. I’ve never had someone pay more attention to detail and be so thorough about prepping my nails and giving me quality work. I started seeing her this summer and I walk out of there with sharp, clean work and my manis/pedis last longer than they ever have before. Selfishly I hate to share this because I don’t want her schedule to fill up, lol, but she’s 5 star review-worthy and you’ll know why after your session with her :)
