Evan really took care of me, I absolutely love my hair , he made my hair the color I’ve always wanted! Like I literally dreamed of this color and he made it come true. I’ve always been nervous finding a stylist and he exceeded my expectations. Super amazing skills he has, would recommend to anyone in the Madison area

I recently had my hair done by Evan, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He truly listened to what I wanted and absolutely nailed the color. I’ve traveled all over and been to many stylists over the years, but Evan is the first one who gave me exactly what I’ve been trying to achieve for so long. His skill, attention to detail, and ability to deliver exactly what you envision are unmatched. I am so grateful for his talent, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch stylist.

I love my hair thanks to Evan, who in my opinion is a Master-level professional hair artist… the type of hair stylist I’ve been looking for my entire life! I needed someone who had a vision for me that I lack… I just don’t have an eye for what looks good when it comes to hair. So I came with a hope and a blind trust, and couldn’t be happier with the results. I was blown away by Evan’s efficiency… he was so quick and precise, and somehow was able to stay laser-focused even while engrossed in conversation. Evan is absolutely wonderful; the only stylist I trust with my hair! He is a skilled and consistent professional- not to mention he’s such a pleasure to be around! His studio is welcoming and stylish. Throughout appointments he makes sure his clients are happy and comfortable, which contributes to a relaxing and positive experience. I always leave his studio smiling, confident, and looking forward to my next appointment with him! I went to him for a partial custom color and root smudge/tap last fall, and the results lasted a very long time and eventually grew out seamlessly. The roots of my balayage blended so well with the rest of my hair as it grew for months, without ever having a visible line of demarcation. I was also impressed by my recent balayage/root tap appointment with Evan earlier this week. The color is beautiful and exactly what I wanted, and my hair has felt healthy and restored since. Evan is one of Madison’s best hair professionals. Evan has been providing hair care for our family for over three years. Evan gets the cut right every time. He cuts in a way that hair continues to look great when you go home and style it yourself. It always grows out well too. Evan is a true artist when it comes to color. He is great with everything from vivid to subtle. Evan spends time getting things right yet is still efficient. His space is lots of fun and the products he offers are luxurious. We adore Hair by Evan.

I finally have my dream hair because of Evan, and I will be going here for all future hair needs. Evan is able to do exactly what I want with everything from highlights and haircuts to blowouts and style. I always feel so comfortable and welcome during our appointments and Evan is also just super fun to talk to. I would give 10 stars if I could!

First of all.. I started booking with Evan for haircuts. Not only was he so kind and funny to be around, but he takes the time to assess the hair and works to perfection. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He educates his clients and collaborates with them, so that nothing is left in the dark! Once I started seeing Evan for color treatments, I was able to first-hand observe how artistically GIFTED he is. I had seen photos and reels of his work prior and was blown away then, but in person — his attention to detail, technique, and ability to create dimensional color (by blending gorgeous highlights, lowlights, and tones) is nothing less than impressive. The atmosphere in the salon is nothing short of friendly and pampering. After spending most of my hair appointments at chain establishments, or avoiding the salons at all, I can say that choosing and continually seeing Evan was/is the best decision for my hair and self-confidence!

I recently moved to Madison and was nervous about finding a new hairstylist, but Evan exceeded all my expectations! He was so nice, easy to talk to, and made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I walked in. He did exactly what I asked for with my haircut and shared so much valuable knowledge about different hair products to use. His studio is super cute, and the entire experience was fun and relaxing. Evan is so amazing! I came in for a balayage and definitely recommend Evan for your hair coloring needs! Also, beautiful, private salon and best scalp massage while shampooing that I’ve ever had!
