Star Nails

Terrible service. It’s so sad that people can have zero integrity with their own work. I was in a rush to a birthday party, or else I would have him completely redo this. Made me pay before even painting too…. If I knew how bad the paint job would come out wouldn’t have gotten a tip at all.

I had the worst experience at star nails. I hate to write bad reviews on peoples business, but they ruined my real nails and cut them way to short and would not give me my money back. I only had time to go here bc I was in such a rush that day. This picture was 2 days after I got my nails done at Star Nails. The owner is a very nice lady and does good work but the rest of her employees are terrible.

Good service, Fair prices! Been going to Kim at least 15 years. Her acrylics hold up exceptionally well. Have been to several in Murfreesboro over the years and acrylic always lifts around the edges after a week.

Took my mother to get her 1st spa pedi and Star Nail was so sweet to her! Thank you for making a special memory for the both of us ♥️

I am very pleased with star nails. I had my nails and my granddaughters nails done. Excellent job, clean environment with professional staff. I have finally found a great place to have Dip nails done in Shelbyville.

1 star for the nail growing out into a point on the left/right ends of my big toes. *10 stars for this: I got a gentle pedicure for my arthritic feet.

Leslie did an awesome job. I am post wrist surgery and she was very gentle.

Extremely rude. Tried to call on the phone multiple times and never got an answer. Strolled over there just to see if there was any availability with my child (she wanted cute nail polish) and as soon as we walked in and I asked if there was any availability for a little manicure for her he didn’t even look at any appointment books, just stared right at her and said “we don’t have time for her” and made a shooing gesture out the door. I would understand if they were busy but there were 3 shop workers and only 1 other client in the building. If you don’t want to service a child that is well within your right but tell me nicely you don’t service children, don’t just snap at my child who only wants pretty nails polish. Extremely unprofessional and just all around hateful.

I went with my daughter, her friend, and my niece. When we got here they were all nice but as it got closer to closing time the prices mysteriously went up. Told my daughter her nails would be $70 and mine and my niece would be $50 ea when the sign clearly states the prices. This was just plain ridiculous. I cancelled the pedicure and my daughters friend didn’t get her nail done. Guy doing nails said all salons charge an extra $20 for gel and extra $40 for cat eye! Idk where at cuz no tf they don’t!

Definitely not worth the $45.00 I payed my nails look like crap along with the nail art they were very rude! And had me sitting for 30 minutes soaking polish off my nails in an empty chair why everyone else went ahead of me getting service first... K&M Nails is better than this place atleast! So I would rate it a 0 if I could won't be back here that's for sure!

So glad they are finally open such good kind people. Very respectful of what you ask nails and petacures makes you feel like a million bucks when you are done. Thanks for putting up with us old folks 💯 been going to this place for over 20 years …

Timing is horrible. When you let them know how you want your nails, they do the comete opposite. If you tell them you do not want your nails done the way, they will get an attitude and half complete the service. Unexceptable! No need for terrible customer service, let's drink some Chai Tea and think happy thoughts here!

Worst customer service in town. I walked in, no one spoke to me. I sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes, still no acknowledgement from a single employee. Someone else walks in and immediately gets noticed. "Hey honey, go wash your hands!". I'll take my business elsewhere.

Horrible pedicure. If I could give a zero I would. Worker claimed he used lotion on my feet but never did, no massage and he wasn't going to trim no toenails until I asked him to. Was charged $50 for pedicure +gel polish. Don't go there.

Leslie gave a wonderful deluxe manicure!! Especially on the hand massage. I have arthritis in my hands and she made them feel much better!!
