Metro Nails | Nail Salon

I have been loyal to Metro Nails for over a year now. They always understand the assignment. Unlike other nail salons, they understand exactly how to achieve the perfect almond shape, and are very patient and willing to do any type of design idea I may bring them. I have seen Dara, Jenny, Nancy and more but I can promise you that all these artists are amazingly talented.

This is the best business in all of Rhode Island. The nail techs are superior. They’re all highly skilled, incredibly kind, and extraordinarily patient. The past two times I’ve had Ching do my nails, and she did the most beautiful ombré on them. This is my home away from home, the most peaceful place in the state, the best place for nails period.

Super cute salon with a lot of employees. I didn’t make an appointment but they took me right away. Huge color selection. They take credit cards too. $30 for a gel mani 🙂

Feel like they left a gap between my cuticles and nail this is when I first had it done. Taken at the salon itself. Next time I’ll ask them to please touch the polish with my cuticle.

Nancy did a great job on my dip set! Great color selections! Helpful staff! Nancy made my nails look so amazing and the shape is perfect! She took her time, so thank you, Metro Nails! I will be back!

such a horrible experience. They left uncured gel on my nails which chipped in less than an hour after and could’ve led to contact dermatitis. the woman was extremely rushed when prepping nails and the whole experience hurt and was just uncomfortable overall. i went back for a fix and they jusT painted over the chips which left my nails in a lumpy mess. and the polish after they fixed it ended up chipping and peeling again because of course my nails were 50 inches thick after they painted over instead of fixing the entire nail.

Never again. During my time there, I struggled with my manicurist. I felt like she was pushing me into stuff that I did not want, but I just went with the flow. I felt like I was bothering her just by asking standard questions. I just didn’t like how I felt there. But I just chalked it up to being new to the area. The real problem came when my manicure only lasted for a few hours. I went here on a Saturday afternoon by Saturday evening my nails were already chipped. This was a hard gel manicure. I can keep a hard gel manicure for easily 4-6 weeks without zero chipping. My secret is using gloves washing dishes or cleaning the house. I returned on Sunday and they fixed it for me. It did take awhile given it was busy. The owner was nice about it which I appreciated and why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. It was just very inconvenient to return to get a nail fixed less than 24 hours. My biggest issue is when I went to another salon to get my nails done again it’s clear the hard gel product they use at Metro is not high quality. It felt more like acrylic than a hard gel. I won’t be returning.

Book with Rorth! I drive over 45 minutes to this salon because I have yet to find someone that does nails as good as her. She is very attentive, she takes her time, really cleans your nails well & I have always left satisfied. I have gotten both pedi and gel/dip manicures with her and i always leave happy. The nails last a good amount of time and this salon is also very affordable & offers $2 off student discount! I have had some bad luck at this salon with other artists but can always rely that Rorth will always do my nails amazing!

I had a great first visit at this salon with my boyfriend, we both received pedicures. I made an appointment a day ahead of time, arrived a few minutes early, and we were taken care of promptly. Unlike some other salons I’ve been to, I never felt pressured to get any services I didn’t want, which I greatly appreciated. I also got acrylic nails for the first time and they look BEAUTIFUL! My manicurist made sure I liked the length, shape, and color, and told me to let her know if I ever felt any pain with the nail grinder thing. Staff was friendly and accommodating to my boyfriend as he waited for me to have my manicure finished. Definitely will be coming back!

My experience with the nail tech was fine, her service was fine. The place was clean and the women were nice. What I'm not happy about is my gel nails only lasting 5 days, they are chipping and cracking. This is the second time I have been here for gel nails, and sadly the lack of longevity in the nails do not make this place a regular place to come back to for me. I would only come for basic up keep once in a while for my pedi, in the future. My toes that were done with regular polish still look amazing, I can't deny that.
