Chris is the BEST hair stylist ever! I’ve been having Chris cut and color my hair for 10+ years. Her suggestions have been spot on and she very calmly accepts, perhaps, my not the best requests. Studio 6 is a happy place for me.

Got in at the last minute due to a cancellation (yay for me!). Christine did an awesome job on my haircut. I was able to style my own hair (all by myself with no issues) the first time I washed it after the cut. That's a BIG plus in my book. I will definitely be going back!

This salon truly is a gem! Treat yourself to a lavish hair service with these professional and friendly ladies. As I checked in for my appointment, the owner greeted me with a big smile. Everyone here was smiling and friendly---including my very talented stylist Courtney who transformed my boring blonde hair into gorgeous fresh highlights and soft ash lowlights. She seriously weaved my color to perfection! As I'm writing this review, my hair is still soft and shiny days later from Courtney's magic and the top notch quality of Aveda products. Ontop of the amazing service, the decor here is modern and nice. I booked my appointment o their website, which was very easy. I Iive two hours away but coming here is well worth the travel. I will be returning as soon as I need a touch up :)

5 stars! I am new in town and was genuinely nervous about trying a new stylist and I am so grateful I found Tegan at Studio 6 in Gardnerville! She did a phenomenal job with my color and I was blown away by the service! Tegan's attention to detail and excellent service was a treat and she is an amazing person to boot! Amazing experience-Beautiful, calm peaceful environment! I highly recommend!

I got a haircut and style here and my hair looks and feels great. My hair feels very soft and the gal that did my hair Courtney took care to make sure that my hair looked and felt great. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

My wife went for a perm, they were very honest and recommended against it, instead of just taking her money. She got a nice haircut instead, and the staff were very friendly. She'll be back I'm sure.
