L A Perfection Nails of Manchester

My niece got her nails done for prom here, and they were much shorter than the inspiration photo as well as not rounded nearly.. there are spots that look almost pointy-ish or rigid. And on top of that, a nail fell off the very next day. We went back for a new set the following day, and they somehow look even worse. They look like they’ve been grown out for weeks and the polish job is sloppy. I’ve attached photos of both sets. Outside of this experience, I have been there myself for pedicures and have been cut as well as having clumpy/thick and runny nail polish applications as well as applications that don’t cover the whole toenail side to side. I understand they can’t get extremely close to the cuticle sometimes, but they could at least get both sides of the nail. I strongly recommend going somewhere else.

I have been a customer at LA perfection nails going on 3 years now. I love this place. Always friendly and extremely clean. The salon is beautiful. I have Helen do my nails each time. When she isn't available I ask for Tom. He is also great. They both do excellent work on my nails. I have tried several places here in Toms River and they were lacking in service. Someone told me about LA perfection and I loved it. Always a return and faithful customer in me.

Watch out for TONY. Talks the entire time he does your nails so he barely pays any attention to what he’s doing (obviously, check out the pics of my nails). Used tools that were not sanitized. My thumb is infected. I went home after having just a fill/polish/gel, and saw how terrible they really looked. My husband said it looked like a child did my nails! I called to tell the receptionist (she was the ONLY good person that worked here) about it and she told me to come back to get them fixed - and that it would be no problem. So I drove all the way back there and as soon as TONY saw me come back in he rushed up at me, had a conniption fit on ME after I showed him the problems with my nails-then he proceeded telling me how I as the CUSTOMER was WRONG!!! Looking at my nails with all the stains and uneven polish etc telling me they’re “perfect”??!!! Tony proceeded to say to me “I busted my ass for two hours on your nails, they are perfect! I can’t deal with you!” Who talks to a CUSTOMER like that???? That’s just WRONG! 😑 Polish stains all over the back of my tips and on the side of my fingers, also the nails are all shaped differently. One nail looks like it’s a HALF a nail! Then, on top of it, he took the money I paid out of his pocket and THREW it back at me! Wow. 🤯 I spoke with NJ Consumer Affairs department of Cosmetology about this and they told me to involve the police-because he was literally HOSTILE! So now I have filed TWO reports and complaints against this salon/Tony…one with the police department and the other with State Board of Cosmetology! At least the girl at the front desk is very sweet and tries to be helpful. She told me that many people have had problems with Tony. This guy is in the WRONG industry. His nail license, if it even exists, should be REVOKED! This is NOT quality work. My nail beds are still damaged badly and the sides of my nails are like cardboard now. You cannot file nails with a DREMMEL! I am sorry to have to write a bad review but I really think other people should be aware of what they’re getting themselves into.

Got my nails done a few weekends ago. They did a great job. Mani pedi acrylic and gel. Happy with the results. Staff was very friendly.

I have been going here for 2 years. They have always been very accommodating with appointments I usually see either Winston who once came in on his day off to accommodate me. I also have used Joe when I switched for a while to acrylic fills. I think they try their best to do their best I know they recently increased their prices by a small amount but that happens everywhere

BURNT TOE / CHUNCK CUT OUT OF MY TOE / HORRIBLE MANI/PEDI ZERO stars if I could. Pedicure went horrible. The tech cut my toe nails after I said no & when I complained she said "I know my work it's not my fault it's your nail" then she offered to "fix" the shape of my big toe nail she messed up with gel acrylic & when she cured it with the lamp it burned so bad. Then she said I had an ingrown nail, well go look at the chunck she cut out I actually screamed. The manicure is now on me because I should have asked for a different tech or left. But again she cut my nails shorter than what I asked for. It was a rushed job with cold water with a 1 min soak, the nail polish looks clumpy & has air bubbles on all the nails. I did talk to the lady who charged me & showed her the clumps, airbubbles, missing toe chuck & my right big to was burning & all she said was "you want me to tell her?" NO! because she did know! I had told her through out the process & she did not listen DO NOT GO HERE save yourself the 80+ dollars and trauma

Beautiful salon however I didn’t care for the person who did my pedicure he was very rude. I got up to ask for another tech he was rough making noise like he didn’t wanna be at work today he also made a comment telling me to relax .I wanted to make this my nail salon for good but wasn’t please. His name was Dave another tech had to paint my toes which she was very nice!

I love the staff, Helen and Windston, their space and even the seats. I recommend L A Perfection Nails to all the people who want to relax and get beautiful nails.

I went there on chance They would be open in a Sunday- TOM was amazing, very nice and my Nails are AMAZING! Best review he did a great job and was very nice would 100% Recommend
