I frequent Swank Salon more than several times each month. I travel from Matawan, NJ, and I make those trips for a reason. First, my hair stylist extraordinaire, Tina is the BEST for haircuts, coloring, styling and blowouts. I always walk out of the Salon looking beautiful. She listens and answers any questions I have about my hair. Second, Swank has the BEST and most knowledgeable, experienced manicurist/pedicurist, Salpy in Monmouth County. If you have any nail issues, Salpy is definitely the one to see. Whether I am shopping, or going out to eat, someone always compliments my gorgeous nails. My nails never crack, break or lift.

This is the best place in Freehold, NJ, to get your hair done; they know how to deal with all types of hair. I recently went for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment; my hair has never felt this healthy in a long time. Would recommend a 10 out of 10 experience. I’ve been going to Ali for over two years now, and I trust her with everything—extension installs, haircuts, and Brazilian blowouts. She recently cut and blow-dried my hair extensions, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. She gave me beautiful layers and angled the front in a way that blends perfectly with my real hair. The best part? When I take my extensions out, my natural hair still looks even and healthy—not choppy, like I’ve experienced in the past with other stylists. What I really appreciate about Ali is how focused she is. We’ll have a little conversation here and there, but she’s always dialed in on every detail of my hair. I’ve seen so many stylists chat the entire time while carelessly cutting, but Ali takes her time and gets everything just right. She never rushes, and my hair always comes out sleek and polished—exactly how I like it. Anyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with my hair—it’s one of the things I love most about myself, and I’m not shy about investing in it. Ali gets that, and she delivers every single time. I truly recommend her for everything from cuts to extensions and treatments.

This is the best salon experience I’ve had in a really long time. I booked with Gianna, and she was incredible. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure I was happy with everything she was doing. She absolutely slayed my color and she gave me the best blowout I’ve ever had! I’m so happy with how my hair came. Everyone in the salon was so attentive and kept making sure I was comfortable and offering me water or coffee. It was so clean and beautiful inside. This is hands down the best salon around! I go out of my way to come to this salon and it’s worth it every time. As soon as I walk through the door I am greeted by everyone. Even the owner, Michelle who I always see bopping around juggling everything stops to offer a warm welcome, she’s the best! I have very long and thick hair and every few years I cut my hair almost up to my chin. I don’t trust any other place to deal with my hair. I have gone to both Tina and Gianna depending on availability and they both do an unbelievably amazing job! I literally sit in their chair and say “I trust you” and they both just know how to make it happen even beyond my expectations. Another reason I love this salon is because it is a one stop shop and I can get my nails done there too. Salpy, the manicurist is phenomenal! I can always count on her for any event, vacation, holiday, literally anything! My nails last so long and I always get compliments. Even when I go to pay, Ivan who is at the front desk is sweet as pie. This place always restores my confidence and I feel so good when I leave. 10/10 I recommend!

I have been going to Swank Salon since early 2017. I get my hair colored there (single process) on a regular basis, sometimes adding foils, and a haircut. They are an absolutely amazing team. I've also taken my daughter there (who is now 18) for many haircuts over the years, as well as had Up-Do's and Make-up done for special events such as 8th Grade dance, Sweet 16, Junior Prom and most recently, Senior Prom. The salon is gorgeous and Michelle and her team of beauty professionals are the absolute best! Swank Salon is conveniently located in Freehold, NJ on Route 9 South, between the Three Brooks Road and Elton Adelphia Traffic lights.
