Great Clips

Asked for a haircut for my daughter. Instead of ensuring that someone experienced with kids is provided they let someone who is “in training”. While going through, it was asked for the bangs which were sitting on her eyes to be lifted a bit and they went way too far. Also it is not even. We asked for layers but they stated no, they will not be able to as she is not sitting still. Please do not have a “trainee” cut kids hairs. This was not known when getting the haircut. I wish they would have told us previously. I’ve asked for refund as they have clearly missed the mark. They offered to provide a “adjustment” but we don’t really feel an adjustment can fix this.

I would like to share that while the initial welcome was delightful, the quality of the haircut did not quite meet expectations. My husband had requested a comb-over with a part, and unfortunately, the result was not satisfactory. I had to request some adjustments after he had finished. It was such a sad haircut and a waste of money.

Melissa has cut my hair my past three times getting haircuts. Everyone at this location is so friendly and the salon is always so clean! I have attached a before and after pic for reference ◡̈

Been coming here for like four years since I moved to Garner have had a cut with like all the barbers everybody is super nice really good love my hairstylist. They’re always pretty good can’t complain you know and I’m I’m not too picky so I like to let them have some creative freedom and they always do me right Also for a good price like you can always you know 20 bucks and leave a $10 tip and you’re out with $30 sometimes I even run ads and you’ll get you know even a cheaper price and it’s a great experience you know I got no complaints.

I was desperate for a haircut at 6pm on a Friday evening. Where to go? I did a salon search near my house, checked into the Great Clips/Aversboro location since the wait time was minimal, walked in and was greeted by Melissa. She proceeded to sit me down in the chair and worked her magic on my coarse and thick hair for a $20 price tag. Wow is all I can say!!! I am blown away at her skill set. I will be back to see her for sure and will gladly refer her, and this location to others! Thank you for a wonderful haircut Melissa!!!!

There used to be a better stylist my husband would go to, but recently he has gotten several subpar haircuts here. He’s had to go back and get them fixed. Today they left his neck completely untouched. I can do better than the haircuts he’s gotten recently. Certainly not worth the cost. He will not be returning.
