Great Clips

Shouldn’t have even tipped the $1. Asked for a simple 1-inch trim with scissors, and somehow, that was too much to handle. The stylist didn’t say a single word the entire time, which was already weird, but the real problem started when I got home. My sideburns were uneven, the back of my neck was a mess, and I had to go back over it myself to catch all the long hairs she missed. I did this to myself by choosing Great Clips, but usually, it’s not *this* bad. Won’t be making that mistake again.

Signed up on Web. Was 7th on list. Got regular updates on progress on how long it would be.and managed to run a few errands until I received a 15 minute alert. Headed over and after a short wait I was seated and received a good haircut from Victoria. Happy customer. I will be back!

Jessica did a fantastic job with my beard. She took all the time that was needed, not rushing, and the extra attention to detail really paid off. I was very pleased with the experience.

Went here to donate my hair after growing it for close to 10 years. Place was crazy busy, but the stylists were getting folks in and out. Anyway, I got my hair looped off, am VERY happy with my look, and on top of that, they gave me my cut for free since I donated my hair. I'll be back...probably before 10 more years 😉 …

My stylist Hope was great and did an awesome job. I'm only giving 4 stars because it was hot and muggy in the salon.

Used to be worth it. The appointment system isn't very good. 1 of 2 times you must wait 35-45 min more AFTER having recieved a text message that you're next. Secondly, "the bums rush," if they are busy they will simply pump you out in 10-12 minutes and not take time for details. Used to be my go to now I recommend NOT going here

Just had a cut at the Helena location. Did not get a name of the stylist as she didn’t provide it but she did have an accent and blonde hair. She made nasty faces as I was telling her what I wanted and as she cut my hair. I had to fight to get her to cut the color out of my hair. She then proceeded to tell me that “woman look better with long hair and I hope you grow it out” and “next time maybe go with a five instead of a three.” I used a five last time I was at this salon and did not like how it looked. If this is how great clips trains their employees that’s atrocious. I will not be back. Giving one star as I cannot give zero. This is the second time I have had an experience like this. I did not get the cut I wanted cuz she refused to go shorter.

As a large chain great clips is known for quick and cheap haircuts. This place rarely has a less than 2 hour wait any day of the week and service reflects a rushed and stressed staff. The owner of this particular franchise should be ashamed of allowing this to continue without hiring more talent or opening back up the second location.

Went here with my friend. Was sitting in lobby after I was told I was not allowed to sit in the other chair, which is fine! Although, when I asked jasmine (I believe to be the supervisor), if I was okay to sit in the chair, she was rude about it. Some other lady came in to ask how long her hair would take to cut and jasmine was again, extremely rude to the women. The least she could have done was give a rough estimate right? Jasmine looks and acts as if she does not like her job and does not want to be there. She did an elder lady’s hair and I didn’t hear her say one word to the gal. I feel as if that is not how we do business. As a customer here, it is not enjoyable when the employees seem grumpy and have no enthusiasm. Overall, Bridget was fantastic as always! She did a great job on my friends hair as she was very worried from the start. Bridget was very talkative and definitely looks like she loves doing what she does. She was very up-going and had great customer service!

For a convenient and cost saving hair cut, this place is great. The stylists are all very friendly and straightforward. The shop itself was just recently renovated and looks great. Its a little on the smaller side and like everywhere else, somewhat understaffed. But overall, this a nice Great Clips. I'm honestly surprised their cuts haven't gotten more expensive. If your willing to schedule in advance and use the app, its not a bad wait either.
