I love my Beautician. She is "Lae" at the Meridian, MS shoppe. She does exactly what I want and she doesn't quit until she has it just right. She takes me quickly and takes her time doing my hair. I wear a very short platinum hairdo and I get compliments all the time. My husband says my hair is prettier every time she does it. I go about every five weeks. A tad pricey but worth it.

I asked for the black headed girls hair.( I'm in the pink shirt) And I got the bottom two inches layered. I guess I messed up by saying "long layers". I thought long layers was anything longer than 3-4 inches on the shortest length. But I told her I wanted layers up to my head. Then she asked if I meant face framing. "No I mean layers". "I can do face framing all the way around your head". "Ooookkaayyy" So she feathered the top layer of my hair all the way around. It's definitely not what I wanted but I'm not sure if I share the blame. But I showed her this exact picture. She did good with what she did but it's not what I wanted. Edit: I cut it myself and got it exactly how I wanted it in the green shirt. I'll do my own from now on.

Soon as I walked in Kerri had me to have a seat to where she started on my hair and was so quick and did an amazing job. She's very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. She will be my hairdresser for now on.

I am very particular in what I need for hair cutting service. Since both my shoulders have been reversed I cannot wash my hair as good as it needs. With that being said I have been getting short hair cuts. I like my hair washed first. Today I had a very intelligent stylist, Keri Harper. She informed me for clipper work hair needs to be dry. She did that then washed my hair. Next she cut it as close to photos or previous cuts by another stylist. Keri was able to do the job in a few minutes. The other stylist I have been using takes an hour. We discussed that while a great job was done in about a fourth the time. I will recommend her and look forward to my next session.

Lay is super sweet and did a great job on my hair, she always does an amazing job. it’s always a positive atmosphere when I go in with all the stylist. I would also like to say now that I’m making my review that I see a certain review on here that is not true by a lady named Lynn. I was in the salon at the time of her appointment and heard the conversation between her and Lay and the accusations made against Lay was very dishonest. that lady was very rude for no reason at all. She is human to and she didn’t deserve that at all from that lady but of course that lady didn’t put in her review what she said.

Keri did a fantastic job with my stepson. There were some circumstances that made things a little more complicated but I really appreciate the way she handled our situation with finesse and ease. Turns out that we know some of the same people too, and we really enjoyed chatting with her while she blow dried Devin’s hair! She is just absolutely fantastic.

I think the styles need more training time. I asked for color and showed the stylist a picture of the way I wanted my hair, but I still got the total opposite. Plus, the stylist got color in areas that should not have color.

I got a Relaxer retouch up and wrap with end trim it costs me $133.00 I think that’s too much braid was going to be $150.00 I think that too much for a retouch and wrap style to have never paid this for any relaxer and style at smart styles
