I don’t have words to say thank you to Ami for taking me as a last minute walk in. I was going out of town and attending a special holiday occasion and wanted my hair to look exceptionally good. As an African-American and Black woman, it had been challenging to find a natural hair stylist in the Anne Arundel County area. Ami has such a compassionate and friendly personality. She was easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable and patient with me. Her salon was not only clean but very relaxing. I got a two strand twist updo and it turned out very nicely! She took her time with me and learned about my concerns during our consultation, before she got started. She also took time to review the price of the style I was requesting and throughly answered my questions. I highly recommend booking directly with her by calling. She was extremely flexible. I highly recommend her services if you have hair damage or are in need of hair repair as well. She mentioned that she offer laser and red light therapy for helping to regrow hair. Super thankful to her for today’s very last minute and much needed appointment. Also, I should mention Ami is a Christian hairstylist for those who seek someone who has similar values. This is one of the main reasons I selected her salon and also due to the fact that the majority of the reviews are high and very positive.

Beautiful Vibes!! First and foremost let me start off by saying Divine Trinity hair salon is Amazing! The salon is clean and inviting. Ami is beyond professional. She is sweet down to earth and you can really tell she really cares and take pride in what she's doing. This is a passion for her and it shows in her work. Appointments. If you're going to schedule an appointment please make sure you read the website! On the website it states to please call to schedule an appointment. I seen a few negative reviews saying that they just showed up or they scheduled online. The website has stated for forever to please call to schedule an appointment. Reading is fundamental. Once you call Ami she will definitely try her best to fit you in and she is so accommodating. Pricing. Now I will say pricing is a little bit up there but it's well worth it. You definitely get what you paid for and what I mean by that is the quality is A1. Ami also makes sure to have a conversation with you and she is very upfront and honest about the prices and why. She breaks down everything for you. Products The product she uses are high quality. The time she dedicates to scalp care is amazing. I never had my head scrub the way she scrubbed it. She uses multiple shampoos from a cleansing shampoo to a hydration shampoo to a strengthening shampoo and she takes time making sure the scalp is clean. Same thing with conditioning it's actually one of my favorite parts. What I personally love I love the fact she offers treatments. There are different range of natural hair treatments that help promote scout care and hair growth. My favorite treatment is the intense treatment for 180$. This may sound a lot but what you get in this treatment it's well worth it. As soon as you step into the salon your greeted with the smile and Ami's beautiful energy. After she greets you she takes you to the bowl gets you comfortable and starts working on your scalp. She's cleansing the hair adding nutrients back and my girl detangles during shampoo and conditioning there's never a moment while you're in the bowl that she is not detangling your hair. Then she mixes up your herbs for you. These are fresh herbs that promote a healthy scalp healthy hair and strengthens your hair. Then you sent under a steamer. Oh my goodness I love the smell of everything and I love the steamer. After she wrenches the treatment out out your hair she then blow drys your hair. The way she blow drys your hair it's with a brush My hair has never came out that straight. That was the best blow drying I have ever had in my life where she just used a brush she didn't even have to flat iron my hair. I don't add heat to my hair like that because I'm afraid that he damage but when Ami took control of my hair let me tell you my hair has never been this amazing. Then you get the other part of the scout treatment where she has this machine and it's like infrared hair therapy. All in all the process takes about a good 2-2.5hours. It's a solid 2-hour process of your hair being loved on. I personally love getting this treatment before I get braids or any protective style. Time. If you're booking an appointment please understand that Ami is literally doing everything by herself. And she puts a lot of time and care into what she does. Therefore please make sure your not short on time because you will be there for a while. She is not like other hair shops where she only shampoos you for 5 or 10 minutes. She takes time to care for your hair to look out your hair to see what it needs to have a conversation with you about it and to provide an amazing experience. With her being the only person there it does take time especially if she has more than one client at a time but it's well worth it. The quality is always there. She does everything she has certifications she's really into scalp care and actually treating the hair and scalp.

My husband went to take our little girls to Ami to get their hair done....she had a lot to do....she detangled, washed and blow dried their hair along with braiding for each. Her braiding skills are excellent. Her prices are reasonable as well. I wasn't able to go with them because I had to work....but my husband said she was so patient with them because they cried a lot. He said she was understanding and the kids liked her. Definitely going back!

My previous hairdresser moved and I had to find another one. I went to several salons and either went home and had to fix my hair, or go and pay another hairdresser to fix it, or a friend. When I went to Ami for the first time my weave was so laid, I went three months without having to go to her for anything else but wash my hair and blow dry! She cares, takes her time and explains thoroughly! What others couldn’t do she proved me wrong, after my pushbacks. So her patience is A+ too 😂 nice and clean shop too! She’s my new favorite hair dresser or hair guru as I like to call her. I highly recommend!

If you are ready to get your hair on track ( i.e. healthy hair and reduced shedding), you should book an appointment with Ami. She is responsive, professional, and cares about hair care. She is honest about what your hair needs to thrive and will tell you whether a requested hairstyle will damage your hair. It was definitely different hearing a stylist tell me, "No." After 6 months of following her instructions my hair has improved. This journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Do not expect perfection after 1 visit. It takes time and you can't lose investing in yourself.

Miss Ami always does right by me, I’ve been going to her for a while now and she is very sweet and kind to me and does my hair to perfection everytime I’m never disappointed she is such an amazing hair stylist, I have dreads and I mostly come for an interlocking but recently I wanted to bleach my hair and she did just that I was so scared but I ended up trusting the process and came out in her words looking like the supermodel I am, she deserves more recognition she is someone you can count on and trust. My hair was weakening because for my job you have to pull your hair up no flyways no exceptions but she’s been giving me the right hair care routine and giving me advice constantly and my hair is thriving. One tip I will say is to always ask your stylists for hair care advice especially when treating color. This woman is absolutely amazing may god always watch over this woman and continue to give her blessings. And the prices are worth it please trust everything is worth it everyone comes out looking even more beautiful after she does our hair. I fall in love with my hair everytime especially coming from someone with self esteem issues. And it’s very clean and beautiful at the salon and relaxing she has a magic touch🤍
