The Urban Nook Salon

I came here for a conditioning treatment and a haircut. Leah did an amazing job, and I'm so happy with the face framing and soft layers that she gave me. She made me feel very comfortable as a salon-newbie and listened to all of my hair goals to give me the perfect style for my needs and wants. The salon was clean, and the atmosphere was nice, too. I would absolutely recommend The Urban Nook and specifically Leah!

AMAZINGG!! I came in with the worst DIY at home bleach with my hair falling out; Leah helped me get my hair looking STUNNING and HEALTHY!! She also did it right before a wedding I had to attend!!

I’ve been going to Jess for this past year and she’s been amazing! She is always super sweet, and always makes sure to educate you on her products and what she does. I have been happy with my haircuts and my highlights I received from her.

I had a hair cut with Tayleigh. She did a great job! She was kind and very thorough. I will definitely be back. The atmosphere at The Urban Nook is very relaxing and chill.

Melanie is such a doll and did a fantastic job with my highlights and toning!! Anyone with blonde hair knows that it takes a special stylist to get it just right and who knows what they are doing!!

Had a horrible experience. Asked for an ombré or a biolage so it could grow out and be low maintenance. Said I hated warm tones and didn’t want it orange or red. Got an all over ORANGE with no blending. Literally straight across lines in my hair. Told them I was extremely unhappy with it and the owner of the store said I was being difficult because it looked fine to her. When I asked if it’s customary that I’d have to ask to have my hair blended she said that I had a new girl. She said to have any further blending done they’d need more money, and she “toned” it for me. Refused to give any kind of refund. I’ve never hated my hair so much and I have long hair. Never had such a horrible hair maintenance experience in all my life. Hate to post a negative review but I’d hate someone else to ruin years of hair growth by going to this place. Edit: I believe I have been 100% accurate in this review. The owners of Urban Nook are welcome to have an honest discussion with me if they'd like. Simply accusing me of inaccuracies is not a solution, it's simply ad hominem. Addition:: The attached photos, were my hair after the stylist attempted to fix my hair. This was the style the owner said "looked good to her" and by asking that the blending and color be improved I was being "difficult"

Jess is the cutest hair dresser! My friend and I made an appointment and one of us wasn’t feeling well and she brought us some pick me ups. Also she absolutely stunned me with how well she did my hair. Highly recommend!

Love having Sabre do my hair and makeup. I go to her for my cuts and colors and she also did my wedding. Adds a personal touch each time! Highly recommend!

Leah Was great! She was patient and was able to get walk me through what I would like to have and made sure the length was alright with me. She’s so sweet and great at what she does! Will definitely need to book her for my next haircut!
