I love the quality of my acrylic nails when I have them done at this salon! I have been going here off and on for many years now, but only recently have I actually been consistent with keeping up with my acrylic nail needs/care. I had a new full set of acrylics done here just over 2 months ago. I returned here for 2 fills and unfortunately waited too long for my 3rd full and lost 2 nails. I had to be out of town and didn't want my nails looking so horrible, so I made the mistake of going to a salon nearby me in another city. I had the two nails replaced and a full done at this other salon. I will attach what photos I took, but you will clearly be able to see the difference in quality! I had to end up spending even more money to come back to this (my regular) salon to help save my nails! At least they got a good laugh out of the situation too 😂 Thank you so much for your great work everyone 👏🏼👏🏼💜🫂
This is the best nails I have ever gotten! I recommend this is the best place to get your nail done. Their precessional design are phenomenal!!!
Last time I was ask to come back later. It was Saturday so I understand. Today it's Friday. Only 3 people in there The young man doing my nails was in a hurry and kept checking his phone. My nails are rough and not the quality I expected.
Got an acrylic fill done today and requested a French tip. I was here from 11:25PM-1:15PM - way longer than I should have been for a fill. I told the gentlemen, I believe his name was Tom, that I wanted a French tip and I assume because of the language barrier he didn’t ask what shape I wanted. I wanted my nails trimmed which didn’t happen because he either didn’t ask or when I asked him to repeat what he said he just didn’t and kept doing his thing. He seemed unsure every step of the way. I asked him if he had ever done this before as he kept wiping off the white paint and re-doing it. Instead of using a light pink/blush color for my French tip he used a dark color and you could see my natural nail underneath the paint AND the acrylic nail. A different lady had to fix them. So basically I had my nails done twice. No discount was given and nor did the gentlemen apologize. Several people who came after me got manicures AND pedicures and were out the door before I was. I read reviews before I went and was skeptical, and now I will for sure not be a returning customer. Spend your money elsewhere. I recommend TyTy’s in Grinnell.
My friend and I loved this place! We got gel nails, our people were super nice and patient (this was my friend's first time) and we were both happy with our nails. They were cheaper than we thought also, they were about $35
As a woman who works in construction and travels all over the US for work, I rarely have time to do the girly things that I love but having my nails done is something that I always do. I was NOT disappointed today when I walked in. Emily greeted me at the door, I told her exactly what I wanted and she did just that (even helped me pick a better red). All of the staff were extremely polite, friendly and engaging. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Thank you so much from this traveling gal to all of you at Top Nails. Happy holidays!
I gave it 5 stars because my pedixure qith Sophie was the best. Just amazing and relaxing and my daughters nails were excellent with Tyra. She does an incredible job and fast too. I also got a manicure with sophie which i loved only thing hand massage needs to be longer
I absolutely love the work they do prices are great very highly recommend them
They were busy I understand but they told me to come back in an hour. They were now booked for the day. I guess they didn’t want my business
Didn’t file my nails how short I wanted them. Was told they were short enough. Kept asking questions to the other workers about the service I wanted. Nothing was translated to me. I had to file my own nails to be smooth bc they were still rough.
