KK's Castle

February 2023 Update: Yet another great experience at KK's Castle. With inflation, the prices have increased a couple dollars but it is well worth the service, expertise and kindheartedness provided by Kayla. My son, mow 23 months, did not have a moment of distress through the entire visit, even when he got the back of his head buzzed with the electric trimmers. I can say from experience as I have taken my son to a national chain for a touch up while out of town and it was a nightmare compared to the lovely experience provided at KK's Castle. 1st Vist July 2022: Excellent service provided to 16 month old son going for his first haircut! My son felt welcomed and trusted Kayla to cut his hair right off from the beginning. Got the package deal which came with a before and after picture, lock of hair and certificate of his first haircut. Very cute. All sorts of toys to keep him occupied while the stylist followed him around and cut his hair which was impressive! Would recommend to anyone with a little one!!

We took my youngest who is 2 and does not speak to get his hair cut here. It went really well, and she was so patient and great with him. It was a bit expensive, but you get the entire salon to yourself, they put on a show for your kid that they will enjoy, and employ tons of tactics to make it a better experience for your kiddo. Highly recommend them for a first haircut, or if your child is generally combative of haircuts, or for any special needs kids! She is great at what she does.

KK is the BEST at her job and she is so patient and kind. She is perfect for kids who are just starting to get their haircut. My son had so much fun and didn't even realize he was getting a haircut. Perfect setting for kids and mamas!! Thank you KK!!!

We just got my 3-year-old, autistic son's haircut here and it was an amazing experience. Kayla is passionate about ensuring a positive experience for all kids and their parents. She allowed my son to roam around and play while getting his hair cut and made sure to take plenty of breaks so that he did not become overwhelmed. His sister was able to run around and play while he was getting his haircut. We were the only people inside and I was totally at ease during the entire process. My son has cried hysterically during other haircuts at other places that specialize in children, even when I discussed his sensory needs while making those appointments. I will never take him anywhere else besides Kayla Sprout. I recommend her to any parent for getting their children's or their own hair cuts. If you have children with special needs, then you understand how truly amazing and relieving it feels to have someone understand and care so much for your child's special needs. Her calm and caring demeanor was also a huge factor in his wonderful experience. She was so patient and kind, the energy was perfect for him to feel safe and calm for his haircut.

I’ve been hesitant whether or not to post my review. We recently took my two sons here and while it’s a cool place (open with lots of toys), the cost for what we received is just insane. $70 for two kids haircuts! The haircuts weren’t bad but I guess I just expected more for the price. Maybe we just weren’t clear on what we wanted? We ended up going to a barber after to get a fade for my oldest. Definitely disappointed.

Best place to get your child hair cut. My 13 month old son first hair cut. She was amazing with him. From the bubbles, mickey mouse on the TV, and the firetruck. My husband, son and I left happy.. just a amazing experience for a first time mom and scared to let anyone cut his hair. We will definitely be back.

Oh my goodness! My children were so thrilled after their cut today. My two oldest actually analyzed her business model and thought it was fabulous. That's what they discussed more on the way home over their new cute cuts.😂😂 As for their cuts, I'm a happy momma! Kayla was such a blessing to meet. She was sweet and very gentle with each of my children. We will be coming back! Daddy might even start coming. Thx Kayla!

We took our son here to get his haircut and it is always difficult to cut a toddler’s hair but Kayla was amazingly patient and kind, even with the inevitable breakdown from our two year old. Not only that but somehow she made the haircut look awesome. Cannot recommend this place enough. They have tons of toys and a relaxed atmosphere to really give a kid the best experience possible.

I am feeling extra thankful I chose to go to KK’s Castle for my son’s first haircut! Kayla was on it from the moment we stepped in; asking us favorite songs/tv shows to keep him entertained, blowing bubbles, consistently talking to my son just to make him comfortable with her. She gave him constant confirmation as she was cutting his hair, doing her very best to keep him at ease. I was right up in her business as I was also just wanting to keep my son at ease and Kayla worked around me and that allowed me to stay right by my son’s side! He was a trooper and I truly believe it had everything to do with Kayla’s kind-hearted personality, her techniques and the environment she has created at KK’s Castle. To top it all off, Kayla made sure to bag up a little amount of hair to keep forever, a cute certificate to celebrate my sons first haircut, and a card with a before and after picture of my son, I mean come on!!! I couldn’t stop raving about just how good of an experience it was!! 1000/1000 recommended KK’s Castle!!!

Our 15 month old had the BEST first haircut experience with Mandy! Thank you Mandy for your patience and kindness with our son. We’re looking forward to our next appointment with Mandy!
