I’ve been going to Brittany for 5 years now, and honestly, I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. When I first came to her, I had yellow, blonde, brittle, and broken hair that seemed to never grow. She worked patiently with me, educating me on how to embrace and love my natural curls, something I’d struggled with for years. She didn’t just fix my hair—she helped me rebuild my confidence. I still have a ways to go, but my hair has never been in better shape. After convincing me to get a good cut (which I really should’ve listened to her about from the start), it finally started growing in a way it never had before. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly cares about the health of your hair, and who will give you the confidence you’ve been missing, Brittany is the one to see. I am so grateful for everything she’s done for my hair and for the way she’s made me feel about it! To top it off, she is a great listener and provides so much wisdom. I truly enjoy my appointments with Brittany.

I had the most amazing experience at Brittany Reed's Hair Salon! Brittany truly understands curly hair, and it shows in every detail. She gave my curls the perfect shape — bouncy, defined, and full of life without losing the length I love. We finished with a natural gloss color, and I’m obsessed with the result. It added beautiful shine and dimension to my natural shade, enhancing every curl. Brittany made the whole process so easy and fun, using curl-friendly products and sharing tips on maintaining my cut and color. I left feeling confident, fresh, and so happy with my curls! Brittany is simply the best! She always does an amazing job with my hair, and I genuinely look forward to every appointment. From her warm and friendly personality to the luxurious touches—like the cozy blanket during a scalp massage—every detail makes the experience special. Recently, I decided to go for bangs, which was a bit of a bold change for me, but Brittany absolutely nailed it. For two weeks straight, my coworkers couldn’t stop complimenting my new look! Brittany’s talent, attention to detail, and ability to make you feel completely at ease are unmatched. I can’t recommend her enough!

I’ve been going to Brittany for all my hair needs for years. She’s amazing with my curls and loves them as if they were her own. Brittany did a fabulous job on my wedding makeup! We did a makeup session before the wedding too. She's extremely knowledgeable and educates as she works which I value. She concealed every blemish and evened out my skin tone very methodically. I don't usually wear false eyelashes but she applied them with just the right thickness to just the right spots. They stayed securely in place through the wedding reception and into the next day. She did a natural look with a little glam. Makeup didn't smudge and looked fresh into the evening. Brittany is an incredibly talented stylist, colorist, make-up artist. All things beauty related are her areas of expertise. Plus, she’s just a lovely human. Caring, funny and a great conversationalist. I look forward to my appointments knowing I will leave looking better and feeling better.

I've never (ever) posted a review before but Brittany deserves all that and more. I've been coloring my hair for a good 15 years. When I moved to the area a few years ago, I had no idea where I was going to find a new "home salon." It took a couple years and trying out many salons before I found Brittany. After the first appointment, I knew I wouldn't be going anywhere else. Not only is she AMAZING with color (I like to try different stuff) and cuts, but the experience itself is unbeatable. I LOVE that I can finally get my hours long hair appointments done in the comfort of her private salon area drinking a delicious latte, watching Netflix while I process, and chatting with Brittany. I used to dread sitting in the salon taking turns sitting in different chairs, trying to find ways to entertain myself for hours on end. Now I look forward to these appointments. Best of all is getting to know the amazing human being that Brittany is, inside and out. Trust me, you are lucky to be in her care and space! Thank you for becoming my "home salon" Brittany!

I moved to Iowa not knowing how I'd find a curly hair specialist, so I took to reddit! Brittany's was one of the first names to pop up, and one of the only ones who actually had photos of curly cuts she had done! From booking the appointment to the end of the cut, it was an absolutely lovely experience, and you can tell she really knows what she's talking about.

Brittany has done my hair for 13 years. She is amazing with color, styling and cuts! I won’t go anywhere else ever! Several of my family members including my husband, daughter and 2 daughter-in -laws also go to Brittany. She knows how to work with various hair textures including curly hair. She does the best highlights and hair coloring I have ever seen! Love the privacy of her shop and she books appointments on-line which is super convenient. When I go to her salon, the focus is on me and my hair, no interruptions w phone calls or walk-ins. A true relaxing experience, plus Brittany has such a wonderful personality and sense of professionalism, I think I’d her as a friend after all these years! Highly recommended!
