Terrible decision to go to this salon. Everyone working looked as though they just rolled out of bed, and came in their wrinkly pajamas. There was hair everywhere (we were the first clients of the day) when we walked in. Stylists dropped combs and then picked them up and used them on their clients, dirty work stations covered in hair from past clients. I showed pictures and gave verbal directions of what I wanted. I explained to Heather that I’ve been growing my hair out for 6 years and did NOT want all over blonde, just around the face. I was left with patchy brassy highlights, lines from the foil placement, and an uneven (the right side is 2” shorter) poorly executed haircut (no sections-just handfuls of hair roughly combed then hacked into), and almost completely blonde. After $160 here, I now have to find someone to correct the damage done. She didn't even bother to rinse all of the powdered lightener from my face/ear/side of head. Upon waking up this morning, I also now have a chemical cut from Heather overlapping lightener.

I had such a great experience with Heather — truly a breath of fresh air! She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. My hair looks and feels amazing, and I left the salon feeling like a brand-new person. She’s friendly, professional, and clearly knows her craft. I’ve finally found my go-to stylist, and I couldn’t be happier!

Britney is my new favorite hair girl! She had lots of great insight into curly hair and took lots of time to talk with me, more than she would've had to, at my consultation. She did a wonderful job with my hair cut and I'm quite pleased!

I was a first time customer with Jennifer Harvey for a balayage and I had such a positive experience. I showed up with several pictures of what I was looking for and Jennifer executed exactly what I wanted. Not only that, she was really kind, let me know exactly what she was doing every step of the way, was highly professional and showed that she was a great team player by helping out her fellow hairstylists in the shop. I left feeling like a million bucks and cannot believe how lucky I was to find this place. I would highly recommend Southern Bliss and will definitely be a regular!

Absolutely love this salon! My hair desperately needed some help and I honestly don’t think I could find a better salon with a more personable staff. Jennifer did my hair and she listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that. My hair was a MESS when I walked in and what I walked out with was better than I expected. So thankful I found this place!

Hours of operation are limited. No weekend appointments available, even when I looked into December. No after work (4pm) or later appointments available. I even went to the shop to talk to someone about an appointment, shop times said it was open, but "closed" sign on the door. I'll continue to look for a salon for a trim, this one must not need my $.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE Southern Bliss Salon. Ashleigh H. has done my hair for years now and has NEVER disappointed me. No matter the style, cut or color I throw at her she has always been able to master it! We have gone from pixie cuts to all over platinum blonde and my latest style, black with silver. Her and her staff are the sweetest and make me feel welcome as soon I walk threw their doors.

I’ve been going to Southern Bliss for a few years now. Ashleigh is very talented. She’s done my lashes and my hair. Fabulous job with both! Knowledgeable and trustworthy! Conveniently located and sweet southern charm. I highly recommend Southern Bliss Salon!!

It’s been a year and half since I got my hair done by heather - the only reason I didn’t write a review sooner is because I honestly felt bad for her. But the more that time passes - the thousands of dollars I’ve invested in expensive product and treatments attempting to fix my hair since the day she ruined it makes me angrier every passing day. The owner is a saint & deserves every good thing headed her way, she fixed my hair to a point that I was happy with at the time. But I never thought I’d have such damage and breakage to my crown that every time I walk into a salon for a hair cut every stylist has a heart attack. She went from foiling my hair to literally plopping pounds of bleach onto my head and literally making me look like Draco Malfoy. She was hungry that day, literally said “do you trust me? I can do it faster this way.” I’m the customer, I didn’t know better? Just assumed the person with a license knew what she was doing to my hair. She took a picture to post on her instagram that looked semi good, literally looked at me and said “slay.” Anybody with a pair of eyes, even my clueless boyfriend could see my hair was horrible. I reached out for a refund $240 something dollars (told her to give me HALF, not even full), because when I walked into the Sally’s the employees quite literally asked me if I had bleached my hair at home and needed toner. Not only did she blame the salon owner saying she could not issue me a refund due to company policy but after reaching out to the salon owner she let me know not only was she independently contracted & if she wanted to give me the refund it was up to her to do it but the kicker was she was an apprentice & should not have been in the building doing hair alone regardless while she was on vacation. I think what upsets me is not only did she ignore my message, she never said sorry, she also never sent me any the money back. Then went on to unfollow me, I should’ve made this review sooner. The biggest mistake I ever made was sitting in that chair that Saturday - I have been paying for that mistake ever since that day. My confidence is on the ground & my hair is still growing from the breakage the bleach left. For the sake of the women in Georgia I hope she’s gotten better. I went to a salon today, looking for guidance on what I could do to continue to help my hair back to what it was and they were stunned - this is where my anger is stemming from. Wish her the best of luck, but not only did she lie, she also didn’t have the gall to message me back. First picture is what she posted, her “slay pic.” The rest are what my hair actually looked like. 0/10 don’t recommend. She’s lucky I don’t take it to my 100 thousand followers on tik tok, after being blocked it’s honestly what I may do. I’m so nice, I took everything so lightly when in reality she honestly should have been stripped of her license and I should’ve called fraud on my card for what she had done to me.
