REVOLUTION9 Salon

This is the third salon I’ve tried in St Pete and by far the best experience I’ve had in the 2+ years I’ve lived here. The space itself was clean and inviting. The staff were very friendly and it just felt like an elevated salon. My stylist, Jayla, was really knowledgeable not just about hair care but also about the products she used and gave me knowledge about why they could benefit my hair type. She was very thorough and gave a great shampoo, cut and style. I will definitely be coming back and this is for sure my new staple salon!! Definitely recommend and loved the ease to be able to book online.

Jayla is the best. I decided to finally go to the salon after my roommate had a great experience with her even though I have been trimming my hair at home since covid. Jayla takes multiple measures to ensure that she gets you exactly what you want and is not afraid to spend a little extra time to make sure everything is perfect. I got some colour treatments, a hair treatment, and a haircut. My hair came out better than the inspo photo I showed her and looks so elegant. I will definitely be back.

Finally found a fantastic salon and hair stylist! Jayla is exceptional - I just came in and wanted bangs for the first time in years. My hair is the cutest it’s ever been! She listens and makes your vision a reality :)

My stylist Bailey was lovely! Super cute haircut, but I was more pleased with the experience than anything! Clean, inviting salon, with caring employees and nice vibes.

I cannot express how much I love going to Revolution 9 and seeing Marlo. She is by far the best hair stylist I have ever had in my life. When I walk out of the salon I feel like a brand new person! She truly makes my hair look remarkable. I also love the products that are used, they are super clean and always leave my hair smelling so good!

This was my first time in a salon in decades. My hair was long and had no shape at all. It was like I had a big triangle sitting on top of my head. On top of that, I have very thin hair and a receding hairline. Haley knew exactly what was needed, and she completely transformed my look. Thanks Haley! You are the best.

Finally a salon that gets it. If you’re tired of these salons where they only focus on high priced services - “blonding” or extensions, this salon nails it. They are open after 5, will do bang trims, root touch ups and they don’t push products either. Focused on the client - not on how much your service is going to cost. Josh is amazing - great with cut and color.

Disappointed with my latest experience at this salon. I’ve been coming to this salon for many years and have never left unhappy until recently. I came in very excited to get highlights and a haircut done for my college graduation. I felt the stylist was very rushed. I did not receive the style of highlights I was looking for nor did he have time to blow dry my hair. Hair can always be fixed, but my experience at this salon was worse than just botched highlights. I was belittled by the stylist when he said that “I was going to take awhile because I only come in once a year” to another stylist and said “oops” during my haircut. This was very disheartening. I didn’t mind spending the money to pay for the quality and luxury experience that number 9 salon promises to offer but that is not what I received. Since my graduation is this weekend I had to go to another salon to get my hair fixed. They have lost me as a client. I hope anyone else who chooses to go here has a better experience than I did.

I’ve been to this salon for the 3rd time today and I guess 3rd times a charm. I had the pleasure of Jayla working on my hair. Not only did she listen to everything I wanted to do with my hair. She educated me, made me feel confident in what I was already doing but guided me towards better techniques when she heard the flaws in my current routine. I usually shy away from getting my hair done cause I’m never happy but she made a total difference for me today. ❤️ Thanks girl.

I won a gift card to this salon at a wellness event and planned on using it for a haircut/blow out for a wedding. I didn’t find a time that worked the day of the wedding so I decided to go the day before and do a color and cut. I walked in and felt welcomed and comfortable, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’d never been there. Jayla was my hair stylist and she was really knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions I had. I loved how she went into detail with the coloring and cut and it felt like she really took her time. I have never loved my hair this much and may even end up switching salons(one that I’ve been going to for 4+ years). Thoroughly impressed with the price point and the quality! Thank you Jayla!
