Mayo Is Very Efficient At His Profession. Great Atmosphere. Shop Is Always Up To Par. Highly Recommended.

This shop is truly a gem! Dom is amazing! She keeps my natural hair healthy and looking flawless every time. And if you’re looking for flawless braids, Alycia is the one! Her work is so clean and precise, you’ll never want to go anywhere else. Beyond the talented stylists, the entire shop has such a welcoming vibe with excellent customer service. Trust me you will love it!

I called on Wednesday, September 17th, and spoke with a gentleman who confirmed a 10:15 appointment for Saturday. He took down my name, phone number, and email, and I even re-confirmed the time with him during the call. At no point was I told that I needed to book through Booksy. When I arrived at the shop on Saturday, Mayo told me he didn’t have anything open. After I explained that I had scheduled earlier in the week, he checked his phone and said that without booking on Booksy, I didn’t actually have an appointment. He then told me to “call back at 3:00,” which was frustrating after having already arranged a time. If Booksy is required, that should be made clear when appointments are taken over the phone. Miscommunication like this wastes the customer’s time. Better communication and customer service would go a long way.

I can’t say enough good things about Mayo! My son has been getting his haircuts here for a while now, and every visit is an incredible experience. Mayo is not only highly skilled but also so patient and friendly, making my son feel completely at ease in the chair. The attention to detail is unmatched—every cut is sharp, clean, and exactly what we ask for. My son always leaves feeling confident and happy with his haircut. The atmosphere at the shop is welcoming and family-friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. I went to a barber in the morning and I wasn’t satisfied with my cut, I found this place later within the day and decided to give him a try and Mayo did a phenomenal job! I will be coming back here every 2 weeks to get a cut! He is definitely a master at his work! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a cut in the area!
