Making The Kut

I was nervous about switching from my old salon to a new one. Stephanie came highly recommended by a friend. My friend was right. Stephanie evaluated my cut and color and I was thrilled with the results. She did a great job coloring and cutting my hair. I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner! The shop is relaxing and has a nice boutique also.

I have been going to this salon since I moved to Connecticut a year ago. Lynn always does a great job with my hair. She and her staff have always been warm and welcoming to me and my children. My 3 year old loves to go see Lynn and friends. This is a beautiful salon with some of the most talented and friendly staff you can find. I highly recommend.

I read that Making the Kut was the place to go so I tried it yesterday. WELL, best decision ever! Stephanie listened to what I was looking for, made some helpful hints and I LOVE my haircut! I love the boutique too! I will definitely be back!

Such a cute salon! The atmosphere is gorgeous! My hair stylist Stephanie is the sweetest! She’s been doing my hair for 3 years! She finally got to meet my daughter. My daughter won’t let anyone do her hair. She’s very shy when she saw Stephanie, she was all smiles and so excited! Thank you Stephanie for making my daughter’s day extra special! Stephanie is the most caring hairdresser ever. She always takes the time to check in throughout the cut to make sure I'm happy with each step, and she asks thoughtful questions about my preferences, which is so refreshing and appreciated. I always leave with amazing hair. I highly recommend her to anyone!

The salon is the most stylish hair place I have been. I am a person who loves aesthetically pleasing environments and this place is perfection with all its interior design from the product selection, green plants, candles and high vaulted ceilings painted in gold. My hairstylist is Stephanie who has been tending to my blonde highlights for a few years now, and she is phenomenal. She is pleasant, knows hair and is a straightforward person. Highly recommend!

I had my hair cut and styled for the first time last week at Making The Kut and I love it! The salon is adorable with a really cool boutique so that you can shop before or after your appointment. Not only that, but the ladies that work there are very friendly, warm and kind! Lynne cut my hair and she took her time and I felt like I was in good hands! What a wonderful experience! Had a 6 pm appointment. Wasn't taken until 6:40 at which point the owner brought me to a dirty station with remnants of dark hair all over floor, under chair, on table, and on seat. She brushed off seat. I said I didn't want to sit there …

What a gorgeous salon! Love the atmosphere and the way my hair looks after Lynne does it. But it’s more than a salon. I was so impressed by the unique accessories and great products available for purchase-even pet shampoo! I wound up gift shopping at the same time. The toffee is a must try!

The place is beautiful and very clean. Lisa has been my nail tech for over 30 years. She is extremely talented and professional and makes you feel like you are family. You will never be disappointed by her.She is the best.
