My experience here is always good. My hair looks good when she is thru with me
I took my mom and sister to see Alysa for haircuts. Alysa is very patient and listens to what the person wants. My mom got bangs and she loves them!! My sister has crazy thick hair we had to cut short due to a stroke she had suffered earlier in the year. Alysa did a fantastic job evening out her thick hair. It’s growing out beautifully! The salon is super cute and perfectly located! We will definitely be back!
Melissa Thompson is fantastic! My mom and I were walk-ins on a Monday and Melissa was able to work my mom in for a haircut. It was our first time to visit and I was a little skeptical because I've always gone to the same person to cut my hair, but all of Melissa's reviews were good, so we took a chance. She did FANTASTIC! My mom and I now have a new place to get our hair done! Thanks Melissa!
I went in for blonde hair, walked out dark brown. Paid my bill then she wanted $200 to fix my hair! I had to go to another place to get my hair fixed. BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT use this saying. Alysa did this nightmare to me. Her business partner Melissa screamed at me telling me how horrible I was for saying I hated my DARK brown hair. I looked like a freak! Now I look great because of another stylist.
The worst experience I have ever had in a salon & a stylists chair!!! Being a mom I look forward to spoiling myself with a haircut, & I enjoy getting pampered in a salon! I was in & out of 'Salon 25' in 10 minutes or less! She didn't ask if I wanted a wash or style, she didn't even get my hair wet to cut it! My hair was butchered!! Then the lady had the audacity to give me her card & tell me to come back if I need anything!? Do NOT waste your time or money in this salon! It's a dive, & definitely do NOT give Alysa the "owner/master stylist" (per business card🙄🤣😂🤣) your money!! I have another appt @ a salon in Searcy to get my hair fixed!! What a joke! Sooo mad & disappointed!!
NEW COLOR CUSTOMERS BEWARE... I was very pleased that Melissa was able to book me for a "root touchup" touchup so quickly. I supplied my own hair color products, and mixing formula, since no one in this area uses my preferred brand. However, when I questioned Melissa about her application technique, she was very defensive and quickly shut me down stating that she has been doing this the same way for 20 years. Melissa was completely closed-minded to the proper root color application technique. Noteworthy that things are done differently than they were 20 years ago. I cringed as Melissa started applying the color "sparingly" from the bottom up and only to one side of each section of hair (should have been applied more amply and to each side of each thin section of hair). I know this from my last "stylist" who previously worked in a N.Y. hair color lab. When it came time for the color to be shampooed out, I did not notice any suds and I questioned Melissa about this. Melissa had applied the leftover color to non-root areas and I stopped her as she started working the color into the rest of my hair. Again, Melissa was very defensive, "been doing this way for 20 years". A root touchup is just that, roots only! I did not want color on any other areas of my hair. I know from experience that if the mixed batch of color formula had been applied sufficiently to the hair roots, there would not have been any left over. Melissa sparsely and quickly washed my hair, very little in the back, she escaped to the back room, had someone else collect my $85 that could have included trim and blowout (no way) and I was out of there with wet hair. I went straight home and thought it best lightly to rewash my hair. Sure enough, the rinse water contained hair color. BTW, ALL OF MY ROOTS ARE STILL GRAY!!! Less pronounced but still gray everywhere. A new customer's input should always be welcomed, we just might know our own hair and associated color application techniques better than you. Needless to say, I will never visit this establishment again.
Best salon I've ever found in Heber. Love Alyssa, hope I'm spelling her name right. She's great! Also love the little book shop inside the salon.
I always look forward to hair days with Alysa! I love the small town feel in the shop, you never know who else will Come in to chat with! And grabbing a Book on the way out is a bonus!
We were staying at the Red Apple Inn for a getaway this weekend and massage therapist, Tammara Davis, was willing to come there to give my husband a massage. His words to me after the massage were “that’s the best massage I’ve ever had!” and he’s had a number of them over the years. He was up most of Friday night in back pain so the need for a massage went beyond mere relaxation...it was becoming a medical necessity! Without Tammara, our getaway weekend would not have been nearly as enjoyable. He was impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and technique. She went above and beyond by spending extra time on him to make sure he was pain-free. She is a kind, caring individual whose compassion and enthusiasm for her work is obvious and she has sincere empathy for her clients. Tammara is the bomb! Do yourself a favor and get a massage from Tammara!
She was super sweet and really good with my Little girl when we went in there for my daughter's first ever cut. My daughter loves her hair! 10/10 would go back!
