The first time I went here Elena was running so late I started angrily writing my negative review while I was waiting. But alas you don't get to read it because she gave me such a great haircut that by the time she was done I didn't even mind she was running half an hour late. She is like a hair magician. Hair is her life and she devotes a ton of time and effort to the latest techniques, products, and services. I never understood why people are so loyal to hair stylists till Elena started cutting my hair. Now I can see why people would fly to a different city to get their hair cut. Today she asked me how much I wanted to cut and I was like "whatever you think, I trust you."

Elena presents herself as a highly skilled professional, but unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that at all. I came in with a very specific request for a classic bob (karé) with detailed instructions and reference photos, which we discussed at length. Despite this, the result was completely different: I left with a cut that was 5 cm shorter than agreed, and instead of the classic bob, I got a bob-karé. Moreover, Elena’s attitude during the appointment was often rude and unprofessional. The entire process, including hair washing, took two hours, and given the disappointing outcome and overall experience, the price was, in my opinion, unreasonably high. I do not recommend this stylist.

I have been going to this wonderful salon to Elena Basmova for many years. Elena is a professional in her field, a subtle artist and esthete. I consider her the best golden hands in Seattle in hairdressing.

After seeing on social media reviews about this salon and hairstylist Elena decided to try them out. In December I made my first appointment to get a haircut. Elena asked me a questions like what I want to get done my hair cut, what kind of hair products I use and etc and I try to tell her what I want and finally I said I trust you you can cut my hair in the way how you can see and it will be good on me. She cut my hair in the way I've never seen, she used two brushes to cut my hair. The result was phenomenal- I don't even need to style my hair much and they still look amazing. I decided to give a second shot and made appointment for coloring my hair- airtouch technique. She spent with me almost 4,5 hours. The end result blew me away. I was so so so so happy with my hair. My hair even look more healthier, strong and shiny. You get what you pay for! I'll be back :) thank you Elena and Polina for a great service and good conversation.

Polina is amazing. She was so so so thorough in all of her explanations and tips on hair products. It just shows how passionate she is of her career and I appreciate all of the helpful tips and recommendations. A lot of salon artists will give you the easy 1 min speal about the product and then walk away. You can tell Polina talks with the science to back up the products she recommends. I will definitely be coming back for all of my hair treatments. She made me look and feel so beautiful today.

I like wearing short haircuts, and since moving to the Greater Seattle area, I have been looking for a master who can do fun and stylish pixie haircuts. Elena did a fantastic job! She considers your facial features and hair structure to create a masterpiece. She is very experienced and has worked with the leading professionals in the field, has been successful in competitions, and has learned all kinds of styles and techniques throughout her long and impressive career. So, the pricing is higher than average, but the result is totally worth it!
