This place is absolutely a god send. When I moved from South Jordan I really did not want to commute for a nail appointment. I am extra with my nails at times, and when I first went here, I told them I wanted someone who could do designs. They gave me no pushback and told me Kai was really good at designs. So since February I’ve been getting my nails done by Kai, and she’s so nice. Any picture I show her, she does it with ease, and better than the picture! It’s just a go with the flow feeling and I really love it! Everyone there is great!
This was my third visit here, and unfortunately it will be my last. My first visit was without an appointment. I called ahead and was told they could fit me in within 5–10 minutes, but I ended up waiting an hour for a pedicure. Afterwards, one of my small toes was sore and appeared to have damaged skin from the drill. I decided to give them another chance and booked an appointment for my second visit. That service went well—they were apologetic and my ombré acrylics looked great—so I came back a third time. The third visit sealed my decision not to return. During the appointment my big toe began hurting, and despite me mentioning it, I left with two areas of damaged skin. My small toe is now sore again, as if it was nicked. The technician who worked on me also didn’t speak English, which made it difficult to communicate when I was in pain. The salon is beautifully renovated and the prices are good, but the staff is not careful enough with clients’ feet. I don’t like paying to leave in pain, and I will not be coming back.
Update* I still LOVE their pedicures and now that they have expanded and added more staff they wait period os shorter. Added some new pictures. love their pedicures. They take their time and do a really thorough job. There is a great nail tech who does amazing acrylic work. Their appointment system is flawed, where you make an appointment and it’s never really honored. But they are nice and mostly fully staffed. They do a great job and they do try to up your services but that’s their job. I recommend it but plan on being there for a while 😉
Customer service could’ve been better, made almost all of my moms nails bleed (and told her to calm down) and one of mine. Had us waiting for a long time.
I’ve seen a lot of different reviews on this place some good and some bad but I myself have been going to y2k nails for 7 years..my nail tech is Annie and she has NEVER disappointed me!! She is the ONLY one I let do my nails! For 7 YEARS! I live in woods cross and will drive all the way just for her! I’ve lived in Utah for 9 years now and been to many different nail salons but now! Annie is my ONLY nail tech…you have to schedule an appointment with her for a reason!! I show her a picture of my idea and she either does the same or better! Don’t sleep on Annie she is AMAZING!!! I’ve never had a bad experience with her! EVER!!!
Super pretty and clean inside! My design came out prettier than the inspo!
I went here a few months ago to get a full set of acrylic nails as a gift from someone. It was an absolutely terrible experience. The nail tech had her phone propped up next to her and was watching videos and swiping as she was doing my nails. She would be filing away while she was looking at her phone and not at what she was doing. She was extremely rough and hurt me with the file multiple times. She would ask me to choose something (color, nail shape, nail length, etc.) and then tell me I couldn’t have what I wanted because it wouldn’t look good and she would do whatever she wanted instead. The quality of the nails was horrific. There was a giant gap between the color and my cuticles when she was done, as if they had already been growing out for weeks. She left huge globs of hardened acrylic under the nails. The edges were incredibly sloppy. The pictures attached were taken the same day of service. Overall, it was an upsetting experience and I will never go back. Stay away.
The first two times i came in here Kim did my nails, and i was very happy with them!! I decided to come back but unfortunately she was not there, so i let another employee do my nails. When i showed the other lady the design she told me to pick another one, so instead of getting up and leaving, i choose a different set. She cut my 4 of my fingers, and just continued to work on my nails like I wasn’t bleeding. When she was done she brushed oil on my open cuts … super unsanitary. I was over-charged and very disappointed with the work she had done. The pictures are Kim’s work, I recommend her if you ever come here. :)
I went here awhile ago but feel I need to warn people I went here to get my nails done and they had someone very new do my nails. It took a very long time and the acrylic looked bad and was flooding all over my fingers. The shape was horrible and I left unhappy. I went back the next day after my skin started to peel off around my nails to have them removed and get a refund. They refused BOTH. After begging they only cut them down and removed the polish with a Dremel. But didn't fully take the nails off. And cut me in the progress. I ended up having to charge the service back on my card to get the refund. STAY AWAY
I went for a pedicure 2 days ago it’s already peeling. I’ve been coming to them for a year now. They don’t take their time like before I understand they expanded but they should still take their time since people are paying to be there and relax not to be rushed. I asked to take out my ingrown and the lady did a horrible job even after I told her it was still there. Very disappointed.
