I have to say Kim is one of the best hair stylists I’ve worked with. Some hair stylists are good at interpreting users need, some are good at communication, what’s special about Kim is he creates this relaxing and soothing experience just using razor and scissors. Every time I go I feel like going to a hair massage without worrying about the final cut look. To me that’s next level hair cutting. To some comments regarding him being rude, I’ve always being treating him with a smile and he treated me back well

I am going to say, he is a nice person however please do not mess with him and his schedule. He is very strict about appointment but can be understandable if you provide an understanding reasoning too. You HAVE to have an appointment, please do not think you can just do a walk in. He is a person of few words so he can come out as rude, it did not help that he had a natural frown face. All my haircut are always amazing and he always careful and take a great care off me

I’m all the way from Sweden and let me tell you, he is amazing! I came all the way from Sweden visiting my sister in SLC and I’ve always wanted to do a Korean straightening perm but in Sweden it’s very hard to find. My sister told me one day about this place that she had seen and we checked it out and booked an appointment. The owner was very nice and professional! I’ve always had trouble with hair stylist not being able to take care of my hair due to it being very complicated (curly, dry & frizzy) and let me tell you, he did an amazing job! I was stunned when I saw the results and I was very impressed how he handled my hair. Not only did he do an amazing job but he was also very kind and sweet during the whole process. I’m coming back all the way from Sweden to visit him next year!! 1 month has passed since I did the Korean straightening perm and it’s still straight and silky! I really recommend this place! 감사합니다!

Great barber, very meticulous and detail oriented. It's not advertised but you need to make an appointment before you go. Unless someone cancels, I don't think he takes many walk-ins.

This place deserves 0 stars. My wife walked in for a haircut and was treated with disrespect because she has "long hair" and he didn't want to cut it. Why are you open if you can't cut hair? He finally agreed to cut her hair and then said it would be $70. For the price of $70, we would expect a better initial welcome and attitude. When she said no thank you (due to this first impression), he pointed to the door and yelled at her to get out. This man is ridiculous.

Kim hoon knows exactly what he is doing and very hands on. I’ve always wanted to cut my hair like the popular hairstyle right now layered hair with butterfly bangs but I always get disappointed with the other salons I’ve been but this guy gave me the cut exactly as I’ve imagined it! Will recommend him 100% just make sure you also know what you really want to achieve. Showing him a picture would be great!

Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Kim Hoon is so disorganized that when I rescheduled, he completely forgot and went off on me over the phone on how I missed my previous appointment. I tried to explain that we rescheduled and his reply was “Oh. Maybe I forgot.” No apology, no accountability. He also told me he would never schedule me again during his rant. I’ve only seen him be “nice” to older ladies that speak the same language as him (Korean). Save yourself the grief and go to another salon where your haircut won’t be rushed and you would receive any semblance of respect.

Honestly, it was a pretty bad experience. The Barber was rude and snappy. We would tell him what we wanted, and he would snap at us saying that he'll do what needs to be done, but afterwards, didn't do any of the things we asked him to do (thin out the back, trim the sides)

The owner was very friendly and provided quick service. I got a men's Korean perm that was done very well and came out very nice. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and got exactly that. I am very happy with the results and will be coming back.

He is sometimes mean and angry if i dont make the appointment and come to him. Other than that he is the best at cutting asian hairs and perms. He is worth to come and get a cut always!!!

This is the worst hair saloon I have ever been to. I showed the guy multiple videos and pictures and told him numerous times what I wanted. Then he proceeds to cut my hair not even close to what I wanted. I wanted around 3 inches on the top and told him then proceeds to cut my hair shorter than an inch. I was very disappointed and upset.
