I got Jay to do my hair today and it came out amazing! He did exactly what I asked him from the photo. Love my hair! It feels so healthy too now that I cut off the ends !

Nikki has been such a wonderful help to my fiancé twice, and she’s always been amazing! She’s super professional, always so kind, and really attentive, making sure we know everything about the whole process. We’ve been to other hair studios before, but we’ve decided to go to Nikki exclusively from now on because she’s just the best! Thank you for doing such a great job and we will be back soon.

I had booked my hair color and provided colors. I requested to Kim please let me know what you think it’s possible with minimal damage as I have had my hair bleached and it took me 2 years to get it back and semi healthy. She advise me that it was doable it be best to go with a Carmel brown as she doesn’t want to leave the bleach too long to achieve the honey. I proceeded. During the process she then advise me ok it will come out copper with caramel but still look like the picture I provided. Once she was done it did not come out that way! Not even at all!!!my hair is black with brown. I complained and she said that it was my fault because she thought I knew she couldn’t have achieved the color without bleaching my whole head and she didn’t want to bleach my whole head because it would cause damaged. I told her she should’ve told me this at the beginning. I started crying and she insisted she will color my hair back to black or come in 2 weeks to do more bleaching!! I said no because that’s more chemical and again stated at the beginning and advise with caution. She kept insisting it was my fault and I should’ve known!! Kim was super nice at the beginning but could not take no accountability. I will not be going back. I didn’t pay for the amount she initially mention ($320) and paid $200 as regardless she spent 4 hours on my hair for nothing. Please see sample picture.

AVOID AVOID AVOID This salon has completely lost my trust — not once, but twice. And here’s exactly why. I paid $200 for a hair color service with Tammy, and followed every aftercare instruction they gave me: I waited over 48 hours before washing, used color-safe shampoo, and kept the water lukewarm. Still, the color bled excessively, staining towels even days later. I contacted Trish, the owner, and sent her multiple clear, timestamped photos showing the bleeding. Her response: “We cannot refund without seeing your hair.” “This is the first time you’ve complained.” That is completely false. This was my second bad experience with this salon. The first time, I asked for a chestnut brown color and Tammy left a large section of my hair uncolored. I sent Trish photos back then, too — so for her to act like this is the first issue I’ve raised is either a lie or proof they don’t keep track of client concerns. Then came this: “Even if the manager sees the bleeding, she cannot refund.” So they expected me to take time out of my day, drive all the way back, only to be told in advance that nothing would be done. I also explained that I live far from the salon and would be spending time, gas, and energy just to hear the same excuses — that didn’t matter to them at all. What’s worse is that before getting the color, neither Tammy nor Trish ever mentioned that this shade could cause heavy bleeding or ongoing color transfer. Had I been warned, I would have never chosen this color in the first place. That kind of basic, honest guidance is what you expect from professionals — and it was completely missing here. Later, Trish casually mentioned: “We have a special shampoo that will stop the bleeding.” If that shampoo existed, why wasn’t it used during the appointment??? Why was I left to discover that on my own, after the damage was already done? When I wasn’t getting answers, I decided to consult with two other professional salons and do my own research. Based on what I showed them, the most likely causes were: The dye not being properly sealed An incorrect formula for my hair type Incomplete neutralizing or rinsing of the color These are foundational steps in hair coloring. The fact that I had to learn this on my own, while the salon avoided even reviewing their work, says everything about how they treat their clients. At no point was there real concern, effort, or care. Just excuses and cold, copy-paste responses. No accountability. No fairness. In the end, they don’t care about customer satisfaction. They just want your money. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable — just basic accountability. But even that was too much for them. I’m sharing this so others don’t make the same mistake I did by trusting them twice.

I knew it was time bro touch up my hair since all my new gray hairs were showing. I have been torn about how to color my hair since eventually I will go all gray. I have a long way to go and my hair stylist helped ease my mind with future plans to prepare. Her skills show through her work. I’m happy I gave Kim a chance and trusted her judgment. I will see her for sure.

I love Gelen!!! She’s been cutting my hair for over a year! I’ve seen her about 5 times now.. She doesn’t thin it out, gives it volume. I have wavy Hispanic/arab hair.. fair priced and she really does care. Sweet and kind and listens to what I want. Ask for Gelen for all your hair styling needs..

The place itself is good, they use quality products and the staff is friendly. I was attended by Kim, who gave me a haircut I truly loved, a hydration treatment and also styled my hair and it was a good job! My hair still feels healthy, which is really important for me. Also, they really care about the results and how you feel about it, so just try to communicate in a polite way and they’ll help and fix it. I’m very happy :)

First time here and service was amazing! Sarah was wonderful, friendly, and very meticulous with my cut. She also did a very handsome cut on my 11 yr old son. I have struggled to find a nearby place and have been unhappy with even some of the high end salons in the area. So I’m very happy to have found this place.

Booked my appt with Nikki for the first time and she did such an incredible job executing the vision I had been dreaming of! I wanted a balayage with soft shadow root to blend in my grays and a trim to cut off my dead-ends. She is so patient, carefully sectioning and painting my hair to the cool-tone blonde I have been trying to achieve. She understood exactly what I wanted but also tailored the coloring to my hair-growth to make it more convenient for me to maintain with my busy schedule. She's professional, easy to talk to and makes sure you're comfortable there while processing. I'm so glad I found Nikki to take care of my hair going forward. The before and after photos speak for itself! She is an absolute treasure here at Long's Studio 2!
