I am so disappointed in my services today- I walked in expecting to get a manicure and a pedicure willing to pay top dollar for my services- the young Asian girl with glasses and black frame took care of me- she did my pedicure in 10 min and literally just put creams in my legs- barely touched it - didn't even wash my feet correctly- the only thing she did nice was the paint- I cannot believe this is the type of service they are providing in Downtown. I came down here expecting the best and so far this has been the Worse service I have ever received- grant it the place is beautiful but the service absolutely sucked- when I complained about my services my nail tech has been doing this for 5 yrs and I was in complete shock- she didn't care that I complained and in fact went on her phone to scroll on social media- I advised her to utilize her time in learning the craft since this is not a cheap service- I didn't even do a manicure- the painting was nice but all my toes had dead skin and clearly needed basic removal and she pretended to remove and clearly didn't 😏

Terrible. This was the worst manicure experience I’ve had in NYC. The person was extremely rude, had a terrible attitude, and handled my nails very harshly even after I pointed out something I didn’t like. They don’t soak your nails before cleaning them, which makes it hard to leave the cuticles in good condition. On top of that, the color palette didn’t match the actual shades, and the lady got very upset because I had to change colors twice when they didn’t match what was shown in the palette. I do not recommend this place and will never go back.

I’d say you get what you pay for! Kind staff members but not the highest quality in terms of the gel manicure, which I could see as soon as I finished (lack of smoothness in the polish). It’s been less than 3 weeks and I have two broken nails and chipped polish. That said, they are nice and offer to re-service if you get chipped within a certain number of days, and the pricing is appropriate, all things considering!

This is my spot for powder! No matter who you’re paired with, the services are impeccable. I’m always beaming by the end of my manicure.

All they care about is money. My hard gel is only 2 weeks grown (I normally wait 3 and every other salon is able to fill in). They tell me I "need a new set". Go to any other salon in fidi

Update- no longer coming here! Found a nice salon next block similar pricing and MUCH nicer service, so I don’t have to deal with the rude attitude here anymore! —- Update after my 6th visit - I had great experiences here for months but sadly Helen’s skills were not up to par. The dipping gel was much thinner than usual and not shaped well, and I left with my cuticles bleeding. My pedicure was ok but not detailed. It sucks that the different technicians’ skills are so different because some are amazing. If I ever go back, I’d ask for Vicky or Ella. ——- Original review: *Make a booking in advance!* First time doing dipping nails and I’m never going back to gel or polish! Photographer here my fresh nails and 3 weeks after, no chip at all so I managed to grow my nails longer. I paid about $100 -$110+ tip for dipping manicure, a gel pedicure and shoulder massage, which is a great deal in Manhattan! It includes nail maintenance if they chip in a week! The owner seems intimidating at first but she’s super sweet and helped me pick a color. She’s just the no BS kind of boss. The salon was super clean and Covid safe (with plastic dividers between clients) . Tina was so good and kind!

Hi - I have been going to this place for years as well as recommended it to friends and have to say I am very disappointed with my latest experience. I went on a Thursday and got a dip manicure and spa pedicure. By the following sunday, half of my nails had fallen off with little physical activity. I went back Tuesday to get them retouched. At first they said they couldn’t take me due to the upcoming holiday. I said this is the only time as the next day I was leaving for the holiday and they squeezed me in. The owner did my nails herself but only redid the ones that fell off and didn’t even bother to look at the rest. Less than two days later the ones that hadn’t been redone started to fall off so now I am in the same boat with my nails not even lasting a week and now half of my nails are bare. I am honestly shocked as I paid more for dip and they should last close to four weeks and did not even last one. I know they won’t redo them even though they should’ve redone them the first time around. At the very least I’d like them to remove the ones that are awkwardly now on. Just disappointed as I’m usually pretty happy but I spent a pretty penny and have nothing to show for it. Hoping they will make it right.

I would never come back here again. I asked for tips and sns powder. The manicurist took 20 minutes - TWENTY minutes - to find a the size for my nails. She cut around my cuticles after the manicure was done, effectively giving me a gap before even leaving the salon. It has been 4 whole days since my manicure and half of my nails are lifted, and are already beginning to come off. Not to mention the nails are uneven! $75 for this?! Never again.

I started having my nails done here after my daughter, who is a client, suggested it. While I use to get my nails done only for a special occasion, now I get a regular manicure more often and receive many compliments. I enjoy the overall experience.

Great salon with wonderful technicians- highly recommended ••• Following up to say they did my nails for my wedding in January and I couldn’t have been happier! I love the “J” on my ring finger and the powder gel lasted throughout my three week honeymoon!
