Pigtails & Crewcuts: Haircuts for Kids - Baton Rouge, LA

My son has always disliked his hair being messed with. The last time we came here, I literally had to hold him while getting his hair cut lol. But today, Mrs. Anna cut his hair. He did so great! She has a bubbly personality and a calmness about her. I was proud of my big boy for sitting so patiently, and very grateful for Mrs. Anna. Thank you ❤️

Heather was really great with my son. We were nervous about how his first haircut would go and she made him feel super comfortable. Even when he fussed, she knew when to give him some space or find him a good distraction. We were very impressed with the whole experience! My son definitely loved the trains out front. He held two for his entire haircut.

We arrived 4 minutes late for a 10:00am appointment , due to them relocating 2 blocks away with no signs, acknowledgement , etc… When we finally found the new location, we walked in with our toddler(haircut) and our newborn 2 month old baby, only for the “hostess” to tell us that because we were “10 minutes late” (not true) that they could only do a “clean up” on our toddlers hair. Also, they have our phone number …. No courtesy call or anything …. And As overpriced as they are , this “clean up” would have been at least $20 for them to just trim his bangs and his sides. We have been here before for his first haircut and had an amazing experience, but after this completely Inconsiderate incident, we will never be getting our kids haircuts here again.

WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! The Stylists were TOTALLY calm despite being set upon by several parents (am I next? Are you done? It was amazing how many ADULTS had to be kept at bay) but man they ran like clockwork! My son’s hair is AMAZING and he loved it…. Definitely have our new hair cutting place!!! GREAT JOB!

Shakira cut my son’s hair today and has the patience of a saint. He would not stop moving but she managed to get a great cut. We’ve seen Heather and Kori before as well and they’re both absolutely amazing as well. They all have smiles on their faces and the calmest demeanor. I’m really pleased with every detail at this place. Thanks so much especially to Shakira today for her help and flexibility.

I’m super picky about my son’s hair, and Ms Dani did AMAZING. I showed a pic just for guidance and verbally expressed in more detail how I wanted it. I love how it turned out, and my child loves it too. She did so well with him, and I love how kid friendly the atmosphere is. I’m sure the atmosphere made it more exciting for my five year old to get a hair cut too. We definitely found our new spot for his trims. Also, we were waiting in the car for our appointment and for the salon to open at 12 and Ms Dani saw us waiting and came out to get us before time so that was sweet! Thanks so much.

My original review was not so great, his bangs got cut to short and my son left with a bowl cut and I didnt know how to get it fixed, then I recieved a call about my poor review and explained the person who cut his hair was new and they would fix his hair and I wouldn't have to pay for it. The second time was a great change and my son's hair looks so cute. They even put on his favorite cartoon ! Thank you guys so much I will he going back
