The Hair Emporium

My nails look terrible, the polish is coming off after 7 hours. The girl obviously didn't know what she was doing. She put acetone on my nails to get the old polish off. She hadn't worked with the acrylic she put on and it shows. I'll never go back again.

Cora does an amazing job on my hair every time. she’s so welcoming and always meets my hair needs !

I've been extremely satisfied with every service I've received, including color, cuts, nails, waxing, and pedicures. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and I genuinely enjoy the company while I'm there. Highly recommend!

I always have a fantastic experience when I come into the Hair Emporium! All the staff is friendly to me and my husband. The shop is so cute and clean, every time I go in. The owner is a great person, who always listens to any questions or concerns! Would definitely recommend going in for a nice, enjoyable and relaxing experience!

We had a wonderful experience today with one of the beauticians. She did highlights in my daughters hair and they turned out better than we could have imagined. They took care of us in every possible way during the time we spent and even went the extra mile to help try to correct some preexisting issues. I will highly recommend, we felt like family during the experience and being from a small town, that was truly a blessing. Very educated young lady that had an answer for every question an ignorant dad had to ask about helping his daughter feel like the most beautiful version of herself. Thank you!!

Great service every time I go in. The salon is always clean. The gals in there are always friendly. My services are always top notch.

This was probably one of the worst hair cutting experiences I have ever had. I'm not sure if the gal cutting my hair was new or not but she didn't say a word to me the entire time except to ask me what I wanted done with my hair, if it looked OK, or if there was anything else I wanted. I told her what I wanted and where I was ok with the length being cut to and then smaller details like cutting out the blonde spots in the front and having the hair frame my face and some layers. Instead of pulling my hair out or to the side or anything else, she literally just combed my hair to the back and cut it in a straight line. My hair is at least 2 inches shorter than I wanted it and is above my shoulders which was one of the first things I told her I didn't want because I have curly hair and it bounces up. I ended up just saying it was fine because I was afraid it would just get shorter and shorter. I also could feel her shaking and trembling the entire time like she was nervous. It was all around the most awkward haircut ever and I feel like I could have done this to my hair myself instead of paying $28 plus a tip because I didn't want to be rude. The stylist was Elizabeth I believe. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the shop was cute and clean at least.

Since moving to Kansas, I spent years trying to find a hair salon home. Kylie took great care of me and was able to achieve my color goals, I have naturally dark brown hair and she did a wonderful job lightening it with a full highlight! Thanks so much Kylie!

Facility is well kept, I have only met the owner, she is the only cosmetologist I've actually gone back to since I've been in Kansas. If the rest of her staff is anything like her you can expect a good haircut and a friendly chat.

Ms. Vicki did highlights in my 13 year old daughter's hair today as well as cleaned up her eyebrows. She did an absolutely fabulous job! My daughter loved it! She will definitely keep going back to Vicki when it is time for touch ups!
