I love Mallory! She always does an awesome job with my blonding and cut, and she’s super sweet! It’s always a nice, relaxing experience!

This review is about Mary Grace and Melissa. Mary Grace has such a talent with hair. I have curly, long, thick and coarse hair. It's super hard to tame and somehow Mary Grace is able to tame it so easily. She transforms my hair from an absolute frizzy mess to silky, smooth and wavy. I highly recommend Mary Grace especially if you have thick and/or difficult to control hair. She definitely has a gift with transforming hair and is just a precious person overall! I want to say something about Melissa also. Melissa is also very talented with hair. She also has calmed my difficult hair down many times. She has an amazing talent as well and is very personable and sweet. I have enjoyed watching Mary Grace and Melissa grow more and more in their field over the past year and both are just top notch. They are both going to continue to excel because they care about their clients and they are both so very talented. I highly, highly recommend both Mary Grace and Melissa! They are both fabulous at what they do!

I have been going here a long time & have always been happy with my stylists! I have had 2 & love both. The first has moved on. Hannah is amazing and does a fantastic cut & color every time I go!

Melissa never disappoints me. I have throughly enjoyed having her as my stylist. She is always up for a change and does a phenomenal job on the days I come in for my blow dry membership.

Melissa did my hair and despite showing at least 4 pics of me in the color I wanted, failed to do so. Only half on my head was the correct color. A second visit sorta fixed it, but still not correct. Overpriced, but could be diff prices than the other states I've visited. Would not recommend.

The Glossary in Brandon is a fantastic salon! This was my first time there, and it is now my go-to salon! I got a hair cut/color treatment - my first hair color ever. The Glossary requires a consultation with a stylist before having a full color done (vivid or regular). That was so nice, because I had a lot of questions, and I was able to plan out everything with my stylist T. Rex beforehand. Not to mention, I got to meet her and got to know her before the appointment! The salon is very chill, with a relaxing atmosphere and stellar staff. All of my questions were answered fully and transparently. I felt completely comfortable there. Also, my hair turned out even better than I expected! I’m so glad I trusted The Glossary and T. Rex with my hair!!

Brittany (sorry if I misspelled) Ballard is an Angel on this Earth. I heard about her from a friend who has similar trauma/body dysmorphia struggles as me and decided to take a leap of faith. Because my friend has a completely different hair texture than me lol but I really value experience/treatment and feeling safe. I have never had a long-standing relationship with a hairdresser because ones I went to did not make me feel heard or valued. They would prioritize their own vision/opinion for what they wanted my hair to look like and they would get audibly frustrated and physically lash out when my hair wouldn’t “cooperate”. I’ve only been to Miss Ballard twice but both times have been overwhelmingly great. The first time she immediately made me feel at home and only did what I was comfortable with. I loved the result and I got compliments from friends I saw who I hadn’t even had a chance to tell that I’d been to the salon ! The second time I basically visited her as a walk in because I had some unexpected down time and was in the Brandon area. She was totally chill and handled it very professionally. I came in wearing a hat because I love the cold and using my dome as a way to accessorize. But when she was able to see me and finished, I couldn’t stand to put my hat back on because my hair was so cute !!! I won’t drone on further, but know if you extend your trust to Miss Ballard, she will treat you with the absolutely best of her ability. The photo attached is from my first visit. Will try to remember to update when I take pics now that I’ve gotten my second session 12/24 updated with three photos showing cut after 2nd visit (I’m wearing glasses with dark frame)

Brooklyn (not Brooke) is the absolute best. I’ve been visiting her for a year for men’s cuts at the Brandon location and it’s the best experience everytime. The hair washing is immaculate, I’m usually served a water when I arrive, Brooklyn is really funny and great conversation. Plus I look super clean. 10/10 love this place.

Cool and cozy vibe, Brittany (my stylist) welcomed me warmly and left me super satisfied with my experience. I will definitely book with her again and again!

I was finally able to for the first time in my life to leave satisfied from a hair salon, Trex was super sweet. Gives the best hair wash honestly it was super relaxing. I will 100% be back for more.
